Hey guys, Need some experts advice.
I am a CEC outland applicant
AOR- July 20th ( I know this is the June thread but the July thread is a bit slow at replies no offense...)
Medical passed- Mid August
No updates since then.

As there have been no updates I was thinking of calling CIC and/or order GCMS notes. I have a consultant who applied on my behalf, so my question is, can I call CIC myself and/or order GCMS notes on my own or do I need to go through my consultant for any interactions with IRCC so as to not cause any conflicts?

You can call or order notes yourself as long as you have your application number and uci number.

Going to have photos taken tomorrow for my PR landing on Tuesday :eek: Any questions I should ask for people when I'm there? Someone already requested me to ask about PRTD applications from inside Canada.

Exciting stuff...
Thanks Vitesze.Take your photos at Costco. Good price and quality.

Yeah..I ordered notes on September 6. Waiting for the long weekend to get over so that I receive my notes. What about you, have you ordered?
Yes, and I have received it on Oct. 4th.
It said my eligibility was review required, bgc and crim were not started yet. VO is in Ottawa.

Apart from the VO, all the other information provided in your notes doesn't seem very helpful to you :(. Hopefully they provide some better updates in my notes :).

No. You can show proof that you have funds. Nobody carries entire funds. They usually wire them after settling.

Yeah, my file hasn't been touched for months, and I don't know why.

That's one of the biggest mysteries about how CIC works. Some files go through in 30-50 days and some are left gathering dust for months.

Before anyone comes and says every file is different and it depends on various factors and so on ... Agree to all. BUT how do they even know a file is complicated if they don't even work on the file for months!!

I think it all comes down to random chance than anything else. We can all pray and hope that they decide to work on our files.
