QQ Please- I did not receive the Sponsor's Approval but received the medical request email. Is it normal ? would i receive the Sponsor's Approval email after the medicals are passed for the Principal Applicant?

I find this so confusing! How come all the late july applicants are starting to get Med Requests, but some of the early July applicants haven't even recieved AOR1.. I don't understand their system honestly haha!

I actually saw on the August thread today that an August 2nd applicant received their AOR1 today

I am July 31 - so I am still waiting haha

But i am leaving to see hubby in 2 days - fingers crossed we receive the email while we are together in person!

on ANOTHER side note - yes we are all waiting 2-3 months for our AOR1

BUT it seems like the medical requests are coming very quickly after the AOR email

I know a girl who applied June 4th

She received her AOR1 on July 13

She received SA + AOR2 on August 15th

BUT she is STILL WAITING for the medical request

So, as frustrating as it is to not even have received the first AOR email yet.. we can keeps fingers/toes/eyes crossed, that we wont have to wait 2-3 months for the medical request

Does anyone know if it possible to unlink an application? We only have a temporary file number until they send us our AOR1.

We set up the GCKey but don't want to mess up things for when the proper file number arrives.It was such a drawn out 2 part process setting it up.

We'd appreciate any help you could give on this...

You don't really have to worry about that. The only difference between your temporary and permanent application number is that the former has an additional X at the front then it's removed when it becomes permanent.

Temporary = XF000123456
Permanent = F000123456

I heard from friends friend that they received PPR in apprx 3.5 months, applied around first weeks of June and received PPR last week. Is that true/Possible? How they process the applications ? Their's is OUTLAND application from India.

Yes, that's possible. I know a bunch of June applicants (about 10) that already have their PPRs last month. They're from the Philippines.

As an update on my end, our application was received on July 23, and we were just able to connect to GCKey and ECAS today. No AOR still, however. ECAS is indicating that they started processing our app today, October 2.

It's almost the same as GCKey. It's where you can check your application status. You can use either the sponsor's info or the principal applicant's.

Should I start to worry if I have no e-mail whatsoever for my wife application (July 9th applicant). I couldn't find any demand on CGkey either with her "name-passport-and city of application. It becomes hard to call from Colombia since she does not speak english very well and because I would have to pay long distance fee's only for waiting and not speaking to anybody 90% of the call I try to do there. Are we the only one waiting for so long now, I see that a lot a people had AOR1 since 2 weeks.

This is TRUE happened here to few. 1 of them was from flooded areas Kerala. Not sure that was the reason or case was very simple.

NO, don't worry. If you phone them, I read here many members since 2-3 weeks called Sydeny CPC but they have 1 FIRM answer>>"they are processing July 24th cases, U got to wait" Same answer was given to all. They say we have 1000s of files for 1 single day. If U say yours is May something same answer but atleast phoning gives a piece of mind that you are in the system AND your APP is NOT lost or being RETURNED>>it has been opened up>>waiting for a review by an officer.

Hello all, my application to sponsor my spouse was received July 13, till date,no AOR. Attempts at calling agents have been unsuccessful. I tried to check my status via ECAS and it only shows date that application was received.No further information.
Please what does this mean?
Is it still possible for application to be returned for incompleteness,as i dread this most?

NO it is NOT being returned in my opinion. If it was to be returned U should have seen it in the mail by now, it has been opened up AND Only waiting 4 a review. Few more days NOT even weeks U will hear something.

Much better it can be, but not for NDVO they send MR in advance, history of PPR in advance as well, at present seems to be changing. Also MR is a good thing I am sure they forgot to upload SA thing, they don't always upload each and every single infos on web, read many times in the past. Thanx

I am new to this site, dont know if I am asking this in a right forum..........PLZZHELP ME

I am Canadian and preparing Outland Spousal Application from India (my husband is Indian). He is 4 years younger than me and I have been married before (but now Divorced and no Kids). Will this be a red flag? I am trying to gather as much as proof I can to support my application to prove my relationship genuine. My husband also tried to get Visa (before our marriage) and TRV (after our marriage) but got rejected both times.

Does this create a red flag?

I ask because I see on here where people type their stats and they say "no age difference, no previous marriages".

Any HELP would be really APPRECIATED!!

For age diff it is NOT a real big deal or red flag if nothing else was there as follows;- BUT if you marrying a NEVER married MALE guy from India ; it is not normal OR say very common in India that a never married male young guy would marry a divorced lady (very rare cases =YES) Now this 1st + if your nationality and Background is not matching at all that could be 2nd red flag I am NOT saying Refusal 4 sure but it can lead to an interview with lots Qs and if U both truly love each other, marriage is genuine AND he has to be your partner for the rest of your life; NO ONE can stop U guys. Hope 4 the best>>BUT we should all be prepared 4 the worst just in case!

I recommend downloading an app called"Textnow". It assigns you a north american phone number and you can call for free as long as you are connected to WiFi /have data.
