So even if CIC marks them as receiving the package a different day it was actually recieved, time is calculated by the Canada Post tracking and not when CiC marks it as recieved?

You would have written the date on the forms on some papers of when you filled the application out, so if a form has changed since then I think you'll be fine since they will see that you filled the forms out when they were current. Everyone is aware of the canadapostal strike so I think the...

We're at the final stages now!! We submitted our passport information/PR photos in - I assume all we're waiting for now is the final decision? Does anyone know how long it takes from the time they recieve your passport information until the time we get final confirmation?

I'm just a little confused because my friend went through this same situation and they just crossed the border together and went to the immigration office and they stamped it, since we are both so close to the border

Recieved PPR!! They want us to mail in the passport, however we live SUPER close to the Canadian border, about 10 minutes away. Are we able to just drive up to the border and they can stamp our passport? Or do we have to mail our passport in and wait and everything?
