May we please ask, do they give you a timeframe of how many days or weeks you need to move to after approval? we definitely want to move as soon as possible but want to be prepared

Yes there is a timeframe in which you have to land in Canada. It is usually the date when the results of the medical exam expire or when your passport expires, whichever is earlier. In my wife's case, it is the date of the medical exam which expires first. So we have ample time to complete our landing process. .

I got discouraged because our visa office is in London and I’ve heard it the slowest office ! Is it possible that we might need to wait longer then 12 months ?! God

No updates for us. Our file was transferred to Sydney Australia July 9th. That was our last contact from immigration. Complete silence since then.

BGC completed: October 1, 2018
Final decision: October 1, 2018 (although ECAS already showed DM a week before)

Just waiting for her COPR to come in the mail now.

It feels good knowing all the hard work put into making the application finally paid off!

I received my proof of relationship from CIC (VO Singapore) after doing medical exam and paying right of PR fee. I have no idea about it because they usually return it after issuing visa (PPR). anyone has any ideas ?
