After my medicals got passed, my status was like "we will send you a message when we start your background check".
My status got changed to " we have processing your background check will send you a msg if we need more info" when I received an additional document request letter, which was for a newly issued India PCC for my husband.
No request for GCMS done

Do you have a valid job offer from Canada or a PNP?

hello guys....i have some doubts regarding uploading a document in CSE Webform...can i upload the doc all by myself without my agent....and also to which email id will i get the acknowledgment for the document...is it the mail id which i give during the CSE webform( i prefer it that way) or is it the one of my agent which is associated with my profile...normally how long will it take the additional document to reflect in my application

Hey all,
I was wondering, do people from high risk countries are systematically selected for security screening? I am from France and my partner from Libya, I visited his family one week there early this year. We do not even have small criminality background, got all our PCCs in order. Do we still have a chance not to be selected for SS? It is really stressing me...

Dear, there is no benefit that u cud possibly achieve by worrying. If ur partner had to give PCC from France too or have an EU access then the probabilities for security screening may be minimal. My suggestion is that u ring up CIC at Decemeber and enquire on ur status, check with them to learn if u have cleared ur eligibility and whether background checks have started. U can ask them about this scenario. Then on the first week of December apply for GCMS notes; I think, u may get it in 45- 60 days considering the festive season. This will help u to gain a clear insight on ur case. I do not think that enquiring CIC earlier will be of any good. Until then be positive, keep checking ur CIC account, emails, immi tracker and the forum. I am hopeful that you will be sharing with us the good news shortly.

You are right, worrying will not make things faster. This process really makes us all impatient haha. Thank you very much for your words. It is still early for July thread but hope that all of us will get good news soon :)

Some encouraging signs...

PPRs have been issuing for the candidates who's AOR dates in between June 1-10th. This is as per the MyImmiTracker updates.

And even July and August AORs are also getting their PPRs. (Approximately 34 people)
These are mainly from US candidates.

However, still some of the May candidates are yet to receive their PORs. Assuming these are some of the complex cases.
