November 2017 - Citizenship Applicants

I just saw decision made on the online status.

But no mail, no email and I clicked on decision made, no statement about when do oath ,

Does it mean it’s not a good news?

It’s mean a decision been made on your application which is normally good news now you just have wait for oath invite which could be weeks or months goodluck.

Some other guys got email first before they check the status.

But I have nothing from email which prompt my concern

there is no email about "Decision Made". I didn't received any - just accidentally found it in ECAS. ~2 months after it had changed to Decision Made I received an email with the invitation for Oath. And 1-2 days later they added 5th string about it

Test date was Aug 28th at Scarborough.

Mom and Dad's application was changed to Decision Made last Tuesday.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 2, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 17, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on January 11, 2018.
4. We sent you correspondence on May 7, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
5. We sent you a notice on September 26, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on October 17, 2018 at 11:50 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

Hello all.
I had passed my test (20/20) and interview on 28/09/2018 @ Scarborough Center
Everything took less than an hour.
Ecas was also updated to Decision Made few hours later.
I will let the forum know when swearing in invite drops.

App Received: Nov.14

In Process: Jan 30
Invitation for test: Aug 13
Test Date and Interview: September 27
Decision Made status changed: September 28
Waiting for Oath
It has been a long journey.
We studied a lot. Both me and my husband got 20/20. We were the last to go to the interview officer. She checked our original IDs and docs, compared them to the ones in file. My husband had a new driving license than the one submitted with our file. So she took a photocopy from the new one and told us that her assistant will check the record of the new DL online. Then she checked our stamps, old and new, each and every stamp on the passports. Asked for the translation of some, which we had prepared. But she also asked if we owned any property outside Canada, we told her yes, which is our apartment back home which is used sometimes by my in laws when they visit my husband's brothers and sisters, since they live far. and she told us that she will only check the DL record and if she needed other documents she will email us. On my file I saw DM before we left, but I couldn't see my husband's.
Next morning I checked online and In process was changed to Decision Made for both of us. I hope this means everything is done.
