My wife already had an appointment with the MP at 10:30am canadian time and status changed on ecas to DM at around 8:00am. So MP called the immigration and was told that our application is rejected and we’ll be rceiving a letter from cic in a day or two.
We provided proofs from 2004 to 2016(the year we got married) but I guess nothing was enough. Nevertheless Allah knows the truth.

Do you know the reason of rejection.
If you feel the reasons are not fair then you can go for appeal

Do you know the reason of rejection.
If you feel the reasons are not fair then you can go for appeal

They will send a letter in a day or two then we might be able to know the rejection ground.

Feel Really Sorry and Sad for you my bro...How they screwed up someone life.....its lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng waiting period for all of us and after 15-16 months of waiting if get this kind of results OR decision,,, what we going to do... Redo everything another 16 months...waiting..this kills..that kills everything.. lots of prayers for you bro.... Insha Allah!

I just realized that the photos for wedding requirements are different on the checklist and the web page, when you look for country specific requirements, which one do we need to follow:

I followed the one on the checklist, would it create any problem or they will request updated photos?

1- According to checklist:

• Write your name,
• D.O.B,
• brief description of the context on the back of each photograph.

2- According to webpage:

• Ensure that all photographs are clearly labelled in English or French with the names of the persons appearing in the pictures, the date the photo was taken, and the occasion or event displayed in the photo.
