Hi All,

I need an urgent help please. I received my gcms notes and my status for Eligibility is Review Required since 7th of June. My AOR is 15th of May.

The Case Analyst notes were:

---
Recommendation: Review Required MI3 SUMMARY NOTES: CRS POINTS APPEAR TO HAVE FALLEN BELOW MINIMUM FOR ROUND;
A11.2: Review Required R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Review Required R76: SELECTION CRITERIA

Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) CRS score at invitation to apply (ITA) 459 CRS points minimum score for round: 441 CRS score at application (APR): 459 / Verified score 419 I have reviewed the following for CRS points: PA gained points as SINGLE at ITA and APR PA gained points for 0 year(s) Foreign Work Experience CRS score has fallen below minimum for round: REVISED FOREIGN WORK EXPERIENCE FROM DECLARED 3+ YEARS TO 0.

*REVIEW REQUIERED* Web- based search confirms employer information NOTE: letter confirms full/time employment; REVIEW REQUIERED CRS Foreign Work: 0 year(s).

---

I submitted a reference letter which confirms part-time work experience that is paid and equivelant to full-time (40hrs/ week and is paid per hour). It looks like the case analyst didn't recognize the part-time experience. What should I do in this case? Does his recommendation means that my application will be rejected, Or there is still chances the officer will review and reconsider my part-time foreign work experience?

Thanks..

As of now, your case has gone for additional information.
What were the work experience exactly that you mentioned in your application?

Hello,

Your work experience for 3 years in foreign land is not acceptable so there will be few issues :-
1) you did part time job with your studies which is not accepted by CIC .
2) your part time job has different NOC codes or duties.
3) for 3 work experience you have to show 6 years of part time work experience.
4) there might be some errors in employment letter.

Check if any of above applies to you ?
Have a good day.

,
1) 2 of 3 years were part-time job during studies. This should be fine if it was outside Canada, shouldn't it? The Case Analyst didn't even recognize the last year of part-job after studies were done.
2) Part-time job and NOC codes and duties match.
3) Are you sure about this? I think what matters is the total number of hours per week / per year.
4) Employment letter is an official letter head as per IRCC standards and requirements (position title, duration, number of hours, salary, duties., etc...)

Do you think the Officer will auto-reject at this stage? or there is still chances? Is there anything that I should do from my part?

ok so how is it part time? did you mention in the letter it was part time?
This was a part-time job for the pay per hour and had a different contract that implied no commitment for a long period of time "e.g. 1 year or more". The duties and hours per week matched the full time position though. The reference letter mentions that it was part-time.

Do you think the officer will auto-reject at this stage? or there is still chances? Is there anything that I should do from my part?

Are you applying for Canadian Experience Class? If yes, part time experience even if it was outside Canada is not considered for this program. If you are applying for federal skilled worker, does your letter specify how many hours per week for your part time experience ?

I'm applying under the federal skilled worker. Yes, the letter specifies the hours per week for the part-time experience.

You should raise a CSE then because if you are applying for Federal Skilled Worker Express entry and you have the required amount of experience , they cannot deny you. Specify in your CSE that based on what they wrote on their website (link below), your foreign experience meet the requirements for this program.

40 hours per week.
One question if it was part time experience, why did you put 40 hour per week in your employment letter? Part time per week is supposed to be less than 30 hours. Also what do you mean by “this was a part time job which has a different contract that implies no commitment for a a long period of time eg 1 year or more” ?

Don't be so freaked out by the case analyst's notes. Case analysts are not decision makers, they only recommend a file to visa officer. Case analyst are instructed to leave the file for the visa officers if anything found in file which they are not sure about. A visa officer will review the file in detail and make the decision. That is why Case Analyst write review required. If case analyst is not sure about the work experience they would not award points, isn't it right? In your case it could be the job duties case analyst is not sure about or could be something else.

But when visa officer will check the file, he/she will consider every documents related to the job experience and will decide on the balance of probabilities whether or not you would be economically established in Canada by considering other documents (such as your education, ielts, financial ability etc.)

If you are sure that your Job duties are matching with the NOC selected then no need to worry at all. After all case analyst confirmed that he varified your employer. So now relax and just wait for a decision from Visa Officer.

Part time is calculated as 15 hours per week only.

Even if someone did work for 20 hours per week, CIC will consider it as 15 hours per week under part time category.
