OINP: Passport Validity less than 2 years.

Guys,

I will appreciate any response from y'all.

In OINP HCPS application, passport needs to be valid for 2 years. If not, you need to attach the previous passport showing all the pages.

My challenge is that my passport is only 13 months valid (as of this writing) and I cannot find my old passport anymore. I already book a schedule for renewal, and its not that fast to receive my new passport. It will take three months before I get the new one. I feel that I'll be wasting another three months given that I already got my ECA and my IELTS handy.

I haven't created my EE profile because I worry that if Ontario might send me NOI soon, I don't have the 2-year valid passport and I will exhaust the 45-days application window.

Is this a show-stopper? What's the best thing to do at this point?

You didn't understand. It says if your passport is less than 2 years old then you have to submit old passport also. That means if you renew your passport now, then you have to submit the previous passport (which you have currently) as your new passport will be less than 2 years old.

not anymore. as of last week (or so) it is up to the director of the OINP program to decide the minimum score (but how he does that and what this score will be is not transparent to the public)

375 is not an issue. problem is you cannot apply yourself. OINP has to invite you first (by sending NOI to your EE profile)

In guide book they are writing it

"Minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in IRCC’s Express Entry system, as determined by the director and published on the OINP’s website".

My question is they are saying published on OINP Website, where it is published|????? Any Link please?

I havent seen any link till now. I guess they meant they will publish the minimum score AFTER their round of invitations (after they send the NOIs)
