Aor aug 31st. Still don’t have any medical passed? Any advice? Still says medical exam not needed.

My advice is simply to optimistically wait, mine took nearly a month but it finally arrived

Hi All,
I just received my PPR today. I'm a BC PNP Inland applying through CEC. I'm the only applicant with no spouse/children.
Here's my timeline:
AOR 2018-08-02
Medical Passed 2018-08-23
Ghost Update ( Probably IP2) 2018-08-24
PPR 2018-09-24
The funny thing is they didn't even ask me for a Schedule 4. I was waiting for that email asking me to submit the form but instead it went straight to PPR.

How to identify its a ghost update. I don't understand how it works. Could you please provide some information?

That is the ghost update before ppr. Congrats, you will get ppr very soon

I got MEP and Biometrics requeat on 21st Sep and a ghost update on 22nd Sep

I think there are 2 types of ghost update. With the first one you will receive an email from CIC indicating that there is an update on your application. I received that one 1 day after MEP as my BG moved to IP2. The ghost update you see before PPR is not really a ghost update. You won't receive an email or anything. Yesterday morning when I checked my application I noticed the status switched from submitted to application / profile updated but there was no change at all to the application. I received PPR in the afternoon shortly after seeing that ghost update. Even now if I check my application everything still stays the same.

Hi, what kinda notification did u get? What does ur bgc status say at present?

I got an email to say something was updated and then checked the application status and that is what changed.

It will say that until it changes to MEP passed. Not sure what happens when they have to refer medicals though. I think give it a couple of days, I might have been lucky to be one of the first for the 31st to be passed. Don't worry

Can someone receive biometrics instruction letter before the medical passed update email?

I did. Got biometrics letter on September 7, MEP on September 13.

I'm similar to yours. About 2 weeks after MEP/Bio done, BGC turned to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."
