I was not requested for that, I asked vfs customer care and they said for immigration you don’t need biometrics. But it’s different in each case I believe

What's your AoR? I am Sept AoR and I had to pay for biometrics, now currently waiting MEP and biometrics request. A whatsapp group has been created for people from SEPT 2018 AoR who had to pay for Biometrics. You can join the group through below link:-

The reason this group has been created is because the process seems to have been changed for people who've had to pay for biometrics, usually the background check status for people normally not paying for biometrics would be "Not Applicable" also known as IP1... But now people who are paying for biometrics notice that their background check status says "In Progress" meaning they are already in IP2. Some people seem to get their status reversed back to IP1 while some continue being in IP2. This group is made so Biometrics applicants can discuss these discrepancies freely and try to understand the new procedural steps better. Please people from SEPT AOR join only. THANKS.

Hi everyone,

I had a question regarding Police certificates and the dates.

My home is in Karachi where I have lived most of my life. However, for 4 years I lived in Islamabad for undergrad and 1 year in the US for masters.

Now the police certificate I got from Karachi Police station only says that from 2002 till 2018 I have a clean record for my residence at my home in Karachi. It doesnt account for my time when I was away from the city. Should it be dated like from 2002 till 2011 and 2015 till 2017 and 2018 till present to account for the gaps where I was doing undergrad and masters?

I am really concerned about this since this could be considered misrepresentation by CIC.

This is fine in my opinion. The PCC from the home district usually caters for the whole duration irrespective of where you have stayed in Pakistan. You will need another chracter certificate from states. CIC required one PCC per country.

I assume that you turned 18 in 2002 and PCC covers the entire duration since you are 18.

Thats great to know. I will get a certificate from Islamabad Police for which I am gathering documents to cover the 4 year period I stayed in Islamabad. Its from 2002 since we moved in that particular residence in 2002. I turned 11 in 2002.

Hi I would like to ask a few questions. Please help me out here.
I am a Pharmacist by profession but not working as a professional pharmacist. Rather I am working as a Research Coordinator at a business consulting firm. Would my experience be counted in CRS.

Also, how much time is usually required for the scores to get down as I dont have any blood relatives so my current score is 407. What are my chances???

I am asking this on behalf of my phuppo. Below is her case, it will be great if someone can guide:

My phuppoo applied for immigration in 2010 through an agent. She wasnt given any details by the agent but only provided general information regarded status. So she was told that her application has been submitted, and also they had arranged some sort of job offer for her as well to have a stronger case. my phuppo asked them for a proof from the agent, at which the agent sent her a photo of the package they were mailing to london office. Later she was told that her medical request has arrived. but after this the agent told her that her application was rejected and didnt give any further reason.

Now phuppo wants to apply for immigration again, but she doesnt have any information about her case number/application number or the reason for rejection.

Question: (1)
What should be her stance on this and what information she can porvide in EE profile about her older case. (2) is there a way to get her case information from cic directly instead of the agent since hes not there anymore.

Would be really grateful if someone can guide.

Ji itna time... coz London visa office has lots and lots of cases and once they ask for additional adr and when it’s submitted they won’t check straight away, that’s where all the cases gets stuck plus security is also the main issue.

Question for people who have landed in Canada already:

When you land in canada and create a bank account, are you supposed to transfer all settlement funds at once? Can you open an account with bare minimum amount if you're planning to come back in 4-5 months? Does CIC check your bank accounts? I will be leaving soon, I am taking some cash amount with me of few thousands and for rest I plan to show my bank statement. but I wont be able to transfer that bank amount for another few months. I wont be needing the settlement funds immediately over there.
