FYI - I called CIC call center and the agent said they have backlog of 2 months. If I don't receive AOR by 1st November then they will open an investigation ticket. He asked for my Canada post tracking number.

Yeah if you like. It doesn't hurt. Sometime they open the package and enter the data into the system and send AOR at later date.
Like I also have applied for parent sponsorship and I was able to confirm that application has been received by CIC agent over the phone after 1 week the application was received. But each category is different.

Hey guys,

I have a quick question. In list all your names section, i only listed my nick name, not my legal name, since I thought my legal name was already filled at the beginning of the application. I also marked my nick name as nick name in the list. Is it necessary to list my legal name in list all your names section as well? The current situation is they are using my nick name in my AOR email. I’m not sure if they thought that’s my legal name or it’s normal to use nick name in their email. Does anyone have similar situation? Is it normal?
