Hi I called call center again today . The agent told me everything is done except prohibition??

Anyone knows what exactly prohibition related for .

Agent told me like related to time you staying here . I just 20 days out of canada for vacation during 5 years . It shouldn't take long time to find out this .
This means that, your security and criminality checks are done and your file is waiting for a review. The prohibition check is basically the combination of security checks and criminality checks which are reviewed by the handling officer. They probably need to rerun your name in the IRCC data base again before making the final decision.

It is part of standard background checks. Which is a *database perusal of any criminal activities the applicant has undertaken during his/her eligibility period inside Canada. This is conducted for all applicants.

*A similar list of activities will also be handed-over to the applicant during test/interview, which s/he has to file-out. Since you've completed your test stage ~ you've already filled-in that form stating prolly "none". Some red-flag must have come-up subsequently for them to recheck their database.
Thank you so much for responce .
Where can I get more information about it .

I'm pretty sure it means CSIS background check is not finished yet. IRCC is waiting on CSIS basically.

Is there anyone has experience to talk with MP . It was helpful?
No. MP won’t talk to you , it would be just a worker from the MPs office, making the same call to IRCC that you would call yourself, and getting the same answer as you would get directly from IRCC agent

I called the call center several times I was thinking if I call the MP it would be helpful.

Maybe I have to much expectation to get the oath invitation after 13 month .
I think you had an lazy agent who was seating on your application for the longest while and after you started phoning them and sending inquiry then someone started looking into your file.I know it’s frustrating especially when they keep lying and wouldn’t be truthful but all you could do now is wait eventually by the end of October you should be a Canadian Citizen.
