Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2017

Hi All,

I had applied for PR for my parents. My father as the applicant and my mother as his dependent. For medicals I received two separate communications for my father and mother. For Police clearance I got single e-mail by mentioning mother and father names. Recently received an e-mail from CIC for submitting passport and photos... This communication was addressed to only father.

Question - For Passport and photographs, do we get two separate communications for father and mother or is it always only for the primary applicant ?

Please suggest...

For passport it is always the principal account.Along with the email you will get an appendix b form.You need to fill up the info of principal applicant;spouse and accompanying dependent only along with photos.

If you havent appoint yourself as representative your parents will get the ppr letter.

I am the representative for both principal applicant and his dependent.

Then probablybjust wait for the ppr email.Cause I know one of my friend got decision made more than a month still he didnt get the ppr email and he is 2nd round 2017 applicant.

Received Pre-Arrival Services letter today and also BC is in process now, Please update the tracker.

Any idea how long does it takes for PPR request after the pre-arrival services letter.

Also got Pre-Arrival Services Letter on Sep 13, along with BC in progress.
However it's showing as "Decision Made" in cic.gc.ca. Not sure when the PPR request will be.. fingers crossed.

For me it is also showing Decision Made. But no changes are displayed in my cic account, still shows background check in progress.

Do you have any changes displayed in my cic account. just anxious since there is no PPR email yet.

I just want to clarify, is it decision made on the sponsorship application side? Or is it on the principal applicant's residency application?

You pointed to a great thing. On the sponsor there are two columns, the one should show Decision Made which is sponsor approved and other will show In Process till application is done.

Hello, can anyone shed some light as I am not able to get info when calling IRCC. I applied for my parents Nov 2017 thru the second lottery batch. Application was progressing in a timely manner. Medicals done in may 2018, work/travel history requested in june and submitted in July. When checking status online, its says "Decision Made" and its been 6 weeks since ECAS changed from processing to decision made. We haven't received any correspondence from IRCC. How long does it take from Decision Made to receiving it in writing or email? Anyone info would be appreciated. Thank you!

Processing means security check started.

- What email is that from?
- By this office they mean NDVO?
- By received they mean mail or email?
- what is in subject? (I am interested if you have a number there or other text. Wondering how they track this or if it becomes a general email)
- Is there an officer number?

They have given a slot to upload to the document on My Cic
Its more of a generic email and no officer number.

BC is not Security, its travel and resume
