Study Gap after 12th

Hi,

I have a gap of 1 year after I finished my 12th as I was preparing for IIT entrance exam (India). I graduated 12th in 2008 but didn't join my engineering until 2009. I did my bachelor's from 2009-13 and Masters from 2014-2015.

I won't be able to prove as I studied at home. Can anybody please tell me how I can explain the gap ?

I have another 4 months after my masters in the US.

you need to be employed 3 yrs in the past 10 yrs to get max points. rest of the 7 can be unemployed.
