I am a resident for the US, and just received my student visa for my University in Canada. I drove my car from the US and now I need to know how to proceed with being able to keep the vehicle here for the time I'm in the University.
I received from Transport Canada a "VEHICLE IMPORT FORM"
Canada Border services agency signed and checked off
"Complete only for vehicles that cannot enter the registrar of imported vehicles program"
X Vehicle entered by a visitor , tourist, or a person holding a valid work permit or student visa.
Student Visa is my case.
Once the form was given back they told me know you have to get Insurance and Plates?
How do I proceed to get plates and insurance?
How do I get insurance if I don't have an Ontario License,
How do I get a license?
