Married to a Canadian citizen before PPR

Hi,

My -single- FSW outland express entry application is currently being processed since May 2018. I got married last month to a Canadian citizen, however the marriage certificate is still being notarised.

Do I just inform the CIC, or would it better to wait till the PPR email is sent out and then update them with the change in the marital status (with the notarised/translated certificate)? Has anyone had a similar experience before? Would the process be delayed?

update them once you have the full documents in place.

dont know whether it will delay the application (though if I understand correctly, it will) but its your job to inform them about change in status.

You need to inform them immediately and send the marriage certificate once you have it.
