If you want confirmation that their department has actually received your application, you can contact them, and if you are lucky, they will check for you. That's what they did for me earlier this week - giving my PR card, they confirmed that my application was actually received. They did this check when I mentioned that from my group of applicants, I've noticed about 25% have received their AORs. He mentioned that it I should receive it in a few weeks (and I received it this morning).

Just a quick update...I just called Citizenship Canada Client Support Services on 1-888-242-2100 (in Canada only) to get an update of my application status as I haven't got any AOR. The agent on phone mentioned that it is absolutely normal and as of today they are processing the documents received until/on June 25'2018

Urgent help required:

I called CIC for child's citizenship application documents requirement. Other than passport bio page, they need one more photo identification- which could be either health card or school report card. Health card in ontario does not have photo on it. Called service ontario and they simply said no. School report card also do not have photo id.
What are the options? CIC CSA said that they are not officer and can't decide. Agree, but they are just providing same info what is available on website. PR card is not acceptable.

I have the same situation, and I mentioned it in my letter of explanation along with the application package,I have included Alberta Health Card (which has no photo),since my son doesn't have school card, this is the only thing I can provide.I think CIC are tolerant on minor applications and I am not expecting to face a n issue with that,just make sure you explain the situation clearly in a letter of explanation attached to the application package.

Hello,

Go to registry and apply your son an provincial ID. That's what I did to my son. So I submit 2 ID's of him 1 is health care which doesn't have photo and the province identity card which has photo. I just paid 25 dollars, but the fee maybe different every province. Hope this helps.

Try to ask your child’s school office to include a photo ID into the last report card. explain the need for IRCC application!

Go to registry and apply your son an provincial ID. That's what I did to my son. So I submit 2 ID's of him 1 is health care which doesn't have photo and the province identity card which has photo. I just paid 25 dollars, but the fee maybe different every province. Hope this helps.

I dont think Ontario province does that for child under 16. Which province are you from? Registry? is that office?

Hi ..i checked the school records (I asked the school office and it had a photo). The reports did not have a photo but the school record had a photo of my child. He is one in of the TDSB public schools in Toronto. Hope this helps.

I just inquired with school- peel district board- they do not have any record with photo.
