Got a question regarding ME. I have submitted my patents’ PR application. They now want to take the upfront ME for super visa. What if they get their ME request for the PR application after they have done the upfront ME and before they submit their super visa application, can they use the upfront ME for PR application WITHOUT any visa application? Is the Super Visa ME exams the same things as PR ME? Thanks a lot!

I just checked the E-Case with my UCI and my wife's UCI (for her mother).

1. Status of My Patents Application:
Application Received
Once I click this it read "1. We received Name's application for permanent residence on May 18, 2018."

2. Status of My Wife's Mom Application:
We were not able to identify you using the information you provided.

What does this mean.

I checked my ECASE this morning - Sponsorship Application changed to "Decision Made", but Permanent Residence Application is still "IN PROGRESS". No additional info was provided when I clicked on the links. My CIC didn't have additional update either.

Is this common? Should I be expecting communications via email from CIC soon?

I just received email for more document:

For the principal applicant and all dependents 18 and over, whether accompanying you to Canada or not:

• Updated Schedule A Background/Declaration form (IMM 5669): You must declare your personal history and addresses from the age of 18 (not only the past 10 years).
• Updated Additional Family Information form (IMM 5406)

Updated Original police certificates from each country in which you have spent 6 months or more since the age of 18.

I have two questions:

1. do I need to submit 5406 again? There is nothing to update...
2. I didn't receive request for medical exam. Is that normal?

The only thing I can think of check your form either it's the latest one or the old one because CIC/IRCC has updated this form(5406) in May 2018

2- Sometimes you get the medical request after few days - it depends.

Will recommend you to wait - as CIC call centre agents can't make any updates in your app - the answer you will probably gonna get is to wait... as it does take few days to update

Couriered delivered the package at Ottawa Office. Any ideas how many days they take to open package and update their system.
