hi guys,

just an update from my end. My application to sponsor my family was received on May 17. I checked ecas today and am finally able to see that the application has been received. Still waiting for an AOR. Fingers crossed that the rest of the process will go smoothly.

Here is an update for my PIL's application:
Date passports delivered at Ottawa: Aug 22
Date passports received back in Toronto with visa: Aug 31
Date landed: Sept 01
Ecas status for sponsor: Decision Made
Ecas status for applicant: Complete ( line added: xxx entered Canada at Lansdowne POE on September 1, 2018 and became a Permanent Resident.)

With this, I must say that we are amazed at the pace of processing.. good luck everyone else and I hope you'll receive PR soon..

Sept 1 - Received a medical instruction through email from IRCC
Sept 4 -Received an email requesting for Police certificate; IMM5562; Passport copy/travel Docs; IMM1017(IME) from CPC-CTD-Ottawa

I have a questions for those who have done this:

1. My mother is already back home, how can she get a police certificate/clearance here in Canada? as she stayed 1 year here from 2014-2015 and another year from 2017-2018.
You dont need a police clerance from Canada.You just need to submit the police clearance from your back home.Seniors correct me if I am wrong.
2. For medical I do believe that the Physican who is accredited of IRCC will send the medical result for my mom. What kind of docs to provide as a proof f completion of the Immigration medical exam?
And as stated to the email that we have to reply to the email. So it means that we have to scan all the required docs and send it to them.
After you are done with the medical panel physician they will give you a slip which you need to scan and send it back to CIC.Hope those answers help.

Thank you very much in advance for those people who will answer and have knowledge to my question as I only have 30 days to complete and submit all the required documents.

It shouldn't delay your application. They will ask for the fee after you get sponsorship approval, once PR processing for your parents begins. I didn't pay RPRF upfront either.

As far as I know, as long as you have NOA from previous year, reported income over the requirement, and can prove your current employment status with confirmation of employment stating your position, employment status, and salary, that should be good enough for the Super Visa.

Others can verify if I'm mistaken or not.

Hi All,

Our Applications for My Parents and My wife's mother's Sponsorship got delivered in OTTAWA, ON on 18th May 2018 via Canada Post. We have not received any confirmation email or AOR from IRCC. When should we expect to receive the AOR, do we have any timeline estimates from other applicants.
