can you, please, help me as well to understand GCMS notes?
I can't copy it, so
it says in ASSESMENTS
Eligibility -passed
security- (just blank)
Criminality-passed
medical- passed

on the page 2 right upper corner there is s.15(1)- does it mean that SS is in process? as further goes CLIENT DETAIL and ADMISSIBILITIES where it says security-not started. for my husband security page is "withheld pursuant to section 15(1)".

Last pages of the PA and officers note indicate that my eligibility confirmed by officer Dec, 14th, 2017.

and the very recent note in on June 12, 2018, where it says Med reassessment completed as per OTTAWA RMO for PA ans SP. (I'm not good with all these abbreviations-what does it mean?)

(I applied on October 10, 2017 as FSW inland. I'm a main applicant plus my husband who has excessive travel and work history with Afghanistan and Iraq (US military bases). Can it be a reason for so long waiting for us since we applied?

and one more question-Although GCMS notes say that my eligibility is passed- my CIC account still says We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
and We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information. though GCMS says that security not started. why information contradicts and what should I believe?

Hope this message finds you well.

I've received my GCMS notes from "get gcms" and analysed all the 119 pages of it. But some points are tricky to be understood.
I would like to check if you can help me understand some points that I didn't manage to get my head around it.

My application changed the Eligibility status a couple of times, from "Calculation in Progress", "Review Required, "Met" and after all of it to "Not Started". It seems to me it changed on the day the application was received by the LVO.

I also attached the notes of the assistant from the CIO. At first, they mentioned that I met all the criteria, but stated in the end "Review Required: Statutory Details located in separate GCMS note". However, I didn't find such mentioned Statutory Details. After one month they added another note that seems to me they assessed as Eligibility MET. However, the status is still "Not Started".

Do you know what it could possibly mean? or Is there any problem with Eligibility?

Another question is about the Due Date in APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT.
Does it mean my application will be assessed by the LVO on that day?

MyCIC account and the status you see there is not an accurate way of tracking your application, that is why you need GCMS notes.

Thank you. I’m also a bit worried why they confirmed my eligibility in December 2017 and still says that security hasn’t started yet.. why my case would be waiting for more that 8-9 months now for nothing?

Also, as per the notes on the last tow page R10 and Criminality is mentioned as passed. Eligibility is also mentioned as passed in the body of GCMS notes. Everything wrt to CRS, Education, Employment, Medical, Criminality, RPRF is mentioned as passed. The last updated date in the notes is 30th April 2018 (PreVU verified). While on the first page of GCMS notes the updated date is mentioned as 25th July 2018. Can you pls advise what is the status or if you can provide your email id for an offline discussion. Regards

The eligibility takes place in 2 stages, first a program assistant or an analyst will review and make a recommendation, then an officer will review it and make a final determination on it. See in the notes, the last few pages, if the eligibility is done only by the program assistant or also by an officer. If you have a note from an officer after the note from the program assistant, then you are all good. The only thing remaining then is security. Security only starts after eligibility is passed.

Given that your status is "MET" I would assume that the officer is yet to make a final determination and that is where your application is. But I my be wrong too, since Met / recommended passed / passed / etc are used interchangeably.

Given that your AoR is May 2, I see no concerns.

I have only one note field ..
People usually have other notes too from case analyst/agent but in 3 months from aor ,none of the case analyst/agent checked file
File is in Ircc ETOBICOKE Because of workload re distribution
So there is no other notes regarding A11.2 checks in my GCMS notes.
Help.....

IN my case there is only one note ie from program assistant that it.
NO more notes from any case agent etc.
Is it normal .please help?
