Hello folks ...my AOR is June 8....i have called CIC 10 days ago band the gentleman was very helpful....he gave all available details...such as my background check has started and is partially completed...he said my VO is ottawa...when i asked him about the whether it was IP1 or IP2 he said it was IP2......again yesterday i called CIC and the lady was not as helpful as the previous one ..she put my call on hold and checked the status of my application...she said my background check has not started which by the way is shown in my account as well.....she did not say it as recommended pass for the background check and said it has not begun yet....what to make out of this guys...??

How long did you have to wait before the call connects? My file was processed by an agent. If I call, would they provide the details to me?

I'm using google hangouts but can't call this no. Can anyone please help me how can I do that..

It has come to halt. No movements in ppr at all. Checked threads of April and May applicants and hardly see any people receving their ppr. The speed with which they are going, i think we should expect it by november.

Lets just hope we receive our pprs quicker than standard timeline.

You are right. But I did see some movement on immitracker. As per immitracker 66% people from March had PPRs. And this morning the percentage was 68%. So may be a few more people updated the tracker. Going by the immitracker data they need to process 12% more application to touch their 80% within 6 months target.

No thats not the case. I saved +1 613-944-4000 and dialed it from google handout. It works perfectly.

I did same thing buddy.. Saved the CIC number in my contacts.. But for some reason it's not working
I can't even call my other contacts, it's saying send invitation first to call as contact is not using hangouts

Last suggestion hope it works. Download "Hangouts Dialer" App and try from that.
