Pretty much most July applicants have already landed in Canada! You should contact your local MP and try to find out why your file is stuck for such a long time. MP's office will be able to give you more info on this.

Its normal to get such calls. They might want some verification, so they end up calling PA. Is your Husband PA or sponsor?
Sometimes, they even cross check answers by calling sponsor person by asking similar questions.

Do you mind sharing those questions which CIC asked your husband apart of DOB?

I am the sponsor here and he received call from Delhi. They just asked about how we got married and about relation between my husband and my parents. All questions are related to marriage.

If you replied to that call from NDVO to his/her satisfaction, applicant can expect a PPR very soon [if Background checks were done]. On the other hand if caller is still in doubts, applicant may be called for an interview. I think PPR will come Please keep us updated. Thanks

We didn’t get any call from Cic . I have a question about background check. Did we all get call from Cic or just few , we got that invitation letter on 21 st. These kind of calls are coming just before PPR OR EARLY?

Basically such calls only come when cases are at level 80% or up, mean they had a a little Q in mind be4 making final decisions..
