Cannot get job reference letter

Hello !

I'm having a bit of a dilema here, I have been invited to apply since early August. We've done the medical, got all our paperwork, etc... Now there is one job experience I cannot prove with a job letter because they sold the business and I can't get in touch with them. What I have:
- all my paychecks
- a job offer from October 2014, with all they need: tasks, salary, job title, etc..
- a job history from August 2014 which says all my title and promotions since I started. On that letter it shows that I became supervisor in July 2014 (the job I'm using to claim points)
- my T4 for 2012, 2013 and 2014

I do not have my ROE and I'm missing my last T4 for 2015. Basically I can prove the beginning of that position but not officially "the end", except with my paycheks.

Now I'm wondering if this is gonna be enough. I'm afraid they won't accept it and decline my application.
The other thing is, I did another CRS estimate without including this experience and I got 500 points, which should be enough to get me through the next draw.

Would it be better to just re-apply without mentioning this job ? Or do you think what I have is enough for them ? (I will of course include a LOE).

Between losing $1000 or delaying my application of 2 weeks, the choice may seem easy but after spending 6 years in Canada with work permits, I am getting very impatient to get my PR !

you can remove this experience from 'work history' in PR application and move it to 'personal history'. no need to reapply.

as long as its above cut off for that round you should be fine. your CRS will be recalculated when you submit the application. just make sure you have 1 yr continuous exp in your primary noc

If you're using this job for points then yeah. I have the same issue. If I get an Referral letter, I'll get 3 years of experience my CRS scores will jump up by 25 points but I am abandoning that idea.

I only discovered this today while reading all the comments. Does my primary NOC have to be the one I currently have now ? Also, how picky are they with the 1 year ? With the job without letter, I started July 1st, left June 27th (my last paycheck says June 30th).
I have more than 1 year in that same NOC but that was in France back in 2011-2012, will that work ?

your primary noc does not need to be the current job. it can be anything in which you have a continuous 1 yr exp in the past 10 yrs, you need to pick that one.

move it to 'personal history' in your PR application, if it does not reduce your score below the cut off. you dont need to show any papers then.

I have done that in the application, and also changed my primary NOC to make sure I have the 1 continuous year. However I am not able to change it in my Express Entry profile, is that normal ?

you dont need to change it in EE profile. you wont be able to.

Ok Cool ! And will I know the total of points I will get without it, then ? I just want to make sure I'll qualify, I had 552 with it.

edit: Nevermind, I just saw that I could check my points. 517, which is still enough. Phew ...

I actually realised through this post that I did not enter the proper primary NOC, I would have missed it and got declined :/ I have never seen that "continuous year" ever mentioned before.

That "continuous 1 year of experience", does it also apply to CEC ? Or is it just for FSW ?

That's why I never hear of it before ! I'm applying with CEC so I will put my latest and most relevant NOC, even without 1 continuous year. That will still work, right?
