its depressing now !thanks man. i have been checking that. do not see anyone getting MR after jun3 27 for AOR March 13. filtered them till aug 16 all inland.

it is even more depressing when my friend got MR after 4 months from AOR. good for him though but they stopped.

The general definition of "Ghost Update" :What is a Ghost Update? Sorry for my ignorance
1. You enter your account and see status becomes "Application/Profile Updated"
2. You click in your application
3. You found that nothing changed
4. Then, you go back to main page of your account
5. You found that the status become "Submitted"
This is called Ghost Update. And you do not receive any email or any notifications.

Thanks. I believe there are few other applicants in this forum who who received their AOR on January or February 2018 have similar or even faster timeline for Pre-arrival compared to mine.
But it may not be comparable, as I am in a different stream of PNP

For me the pre-arrival letter is the "golden mail" I am waiting for, because then I will be able to apply for a work permit for my spouse. Can someone please enlighten me on whether the pre-arrival letter qualifies me to apply for a work for my spouse who is outside Canada. The wait for my spouse to join me is getting frustrating for both of us. If anyone knows the best way to go about it, they should kindly let me know.
I called CIC today and the agent said that I have not got the first stage approval yet, but he asked me to apply for a work for my spouse based on the fact that I have a PR application in process.
I have however tried to check for eligibility in order to generate but there is no option. Any help will be appreciated.
My Timeline is as follows:

Also I have tried to check for eligibility in order to generate documents for the work permit application but there is no option that I qualify for that will enable me generate any document. PS - I have a PGWP, but I do not have a NOC B job

I am sure you have already checked the website in terms of how to apply an open work permit for your spouse. And you know that your job does not belong to NOC O, A, B , which is a mandatory requirement for people who have PGWP to apply work permit for their spouse.
The first paragraph in pre arrival : ‘ We are pleased to inform you that you, your spouse and dependants can now receive free pre-arrival services funded by the Government of Canada. These services are available before you arrive and are meant to better prepare you for life in Canada.‘
While the pre arrival letter indicates that eligibility is passed, it does not mean application is approved because security check is still in progress. Therefore, I highly doubt a pre arrival letter will help, given you have to have at least NOC B job with PGWP. And I think you have already read that “ The applicant’s spouse or common-law partner will also need to provide information about the principal applicant’s employment by attaching supporting documents, including the following: a letter from their current employer confirming employment or a copy of their employment offer or contract, a copy of 3 of their pay stubs”. These information need to be consistent with at least NOC B jobs.
Currently, if you do not find a NOC B job under PGWP, I do not know other possible ways to get a work permit for your spouse. Your spouse can always apply for visitor visa to come to Canada, but one thing is that officer may suspect you spouse’s purpose to Canada given you are in the progress of applying PR. But if everything is well prepared, a visitor visa should be approved ( I do not know if your spouse has visitor visa or not, and I assume your spouse does not have it). If you have the salary to financial support your spouse, your spouse can be with you on visitor visa. If you do need to have your spouse work or your spouse wants to work in Canada, you may need to wait until you change your job or get PR.
