Guys, I have a question,
My mom is visiting me with super visa, if they request her passport while she is still in Canada, how can she do the landing? Can we take her to the US border to do the landing? or Do I need to send her back home? I don't get that..
Yes, you can land by crossing the border by road. For my PR, I went to the Canada-US border at Niagara falls (Peace Bridge), made a u-turn back to Canada and completed the landing procedure. The US border officials will give you a piece of paper (I believe it's yellow in color), which you have to present to the Canadian side. The unofficial term for this procedure is called "flagpolling". There's lots of info on this forum and online about it. Good luck

1. Take a trip to home or anywhere in world.
2. Take a trip to US border, that may be complex not every US border do that
3. One can do landing with-in Canada through CIC offices, this is good option.
Option 3 also works. Know someone who did that in Ottawa. Can't remember if you need to book an appointment or just walk-in.

I AM CONFUSED:
I just checked status online where is read : "desion made" for applicant. I also received a email with a attachment form: IMM5801E. this form talks about: We are pleased to announce that you can use pre-arrival services. And it talks about how to enroll for them.

My question is: Do I have to do anything ? I was expecting they will request passport, what should I expect next or do next ?
Congratulations !!! that is so exciting !!

  1. No you're not eligible - as you need consecutive 3 years taxation to meet the LICO
  2. No you can't - only for < 22
Follow these instruction(in link) to get familiar for eligibility

Instruction Guide [IMM 5772]

Thanks,

If not can I show Tax returns from previous country of residence to meet the LICO?

Regards,
Aditya

1) No, not unless you live and work in Quebec. You need to wait for atleast 3 tax seasons of qualifying income, meaning at the earliest you can apply for lottery in 2020.

2) No

Durint stage 1 evaluating sponsor's eligibility, if VO has any questions regarding sponsor'e eligibility would they refuse sponsorship
without asking for more information? or they will ask for more information first and then make decision?

During stage 2, VO can also re-evaluate sponsor's eligibility, again, if they have any questions, would they give opportunity to sponsor to provide more information before making a decision?

If I pick Continued to proceed for 1344 Q1, can I submit more supporting document once SA is found ineligible so that VO can re-evalute the case, or I have to wait for the whole PR application is done and then go through the appeal process?

Just want to understand more about the process. Thanks

I've been stalking this blog for a very long time now, and these past few weeks has been everyday for me!
I submitted my application to sponsor my parents April 21 and i still haven't heard from them!
Called CIC a few weeks back to confirm that they got my package and they said they did.
It just seems like not having a response or at least a 'were processing it' is so late for me, isn't it?

Anyway, I'm so happy to everyone who's gotten theirs! Even made me emotional reading some of the updates a few weeks back!!! :)
I hope everyone gets their documents processed quickly!
