Currently the status says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility". So apparently it's not even under review.

You won't see any real updates on MyCIC until after you get Sponsorship Approval. MyCIC is for tracking the actual PR processing for your parents and their dependents, which only begins after SA.

Hi guys, for Background Declaration 5669, question 6 - personal History. it ask to provide details of personal history of the past 10 years.

Do I have to list all the travels as well? my parents travel in and out of country alot for business. E.g. they are employed in 2007 - 2017, but travel for 2-3 month each year.

Do I list, 2007 04 - 2007-06: employed - travelling, visitor. 2007-06-2007-10: employed, citizen and continue for each year?

Then for question 10 - Addresses
Do list all the address they lived at including the visits:
1. to canada?
2. even the short week trips e.g a cruise?
3. or a 3 day trip to NY?

lol join the club. Yes, you have to list all travels in the last 10 years. I filled out almost 20 pages. Also, after you get Sponsorship Approval, IRCC will request another form "Supplementary Travel Info", there you gotta fill out all the travels again, only this time, you have to mention the duration of each travel too. So make sure to keep that record handy.

For addresses, only include primary residences, not vacation addresses, unless ofcourse when they were vacationing, they didn't have a primary address, then you should list the vacation address. Make sure there are no gaps in the history.

Thank Ali for reply, here is the thing if I have incorporated myself and I was billing to customer and was receiving money in corporation account. I have also had enrolled myself as employee to my corporation to get salary. My personal payroll was 50% less of the gross income I was getting on incorporation level. I was generating T4 for my payroll which contains 50% of my earning and 50% earning was on incorporation level.

The example that Ali has referred to is very logical and usable (I'm an incorporated contractor and I have used the example 1 to show my annual salary).

Remember, CIC is not interested in your corporate income. They will check your personal income that you pay to yourself from the corporate account.

Your income (not the corporate income) appears on your Personal annual notice of assessment (line 150) that must be equal or higher than the Minimum necessary income to sponsor your folks.

Added rows to the form. For the supplementary travel form that IRCC will request later on, need to type it on an additional sheet. It doesn't have an option to add more rows.

I selected "Other", and mentioned that travel was for vacation in the "title/activity" box. "Employment" doesn't make sense to me. It would seem like the applicant traveled to work there.

In Financial evaluation form is some one is able to add cents as well ? Suppose if am making $20,635.25 but the form change itself to only $20,635. Are we good if we use that amount? Though it doesn’t have the exac amount as NOA. )Only cents are different )

My wife got the approval for PGP sponsorship and got 60 days to fill up and submit forms.I am helping my wife to fill up the forms and question about the form for Financial evaluation

Current family information

1. I and my wife have two kids. Plus my widow mother as PR, we had sponsored couple of years before not 10 years yet. My wife was co-signer for my mother's sponsorship. So we are total 5 People living here already and sponsoring Two (my Wife's parents father and Mother no dependent)

Text Color means as follows

1. Blue color text means It is copied same as from the Form. So what ever is in the form, it is copy pasted here.
2. Black color means, it is My thoughts, or my understanding/Assumption
3. Red Color text means is , It is question I am asking, I need help with

Details from the Forms and questions are as follows

3. A) Current undertaking

B) Previous undertakings
i) Number of persons included in previous undertakings you signed as a sponsor and that are still in effect. Provide details in question 9 on page 2.
ii) Number of persons included in previous undertakings you signed as a sponsor and that are not yet in effect (persons who have not yet become permanent residents). Provide details on the back of this page.
iii) Number of persons included in previous undertakings you co-signed, where these undertakings are still in effect. Provide details on the back of this page.

The number (iii) above is applicable to my wife, as she was co-signer for the sponsorship of my mother. I understand this part and I can fill number 1 in the box corresponding to this. I did that already actually

Problem is next question

The form has section as follows

4. Complete this section only if your spouse or common-law partner is co-signing the undertaking (As I am co-signing, i have to fill this section)
i) Number of persons included in previous undertakings your spouse or common-law partner signed as a sponsor and that are still in effect. Do not include persons already accounted for in 2. or 3.B(iii). Provide details on the back of this page.

So this part question 4 (i) applicable to me as I was a sponsor for my mother. So the line here also says "Do not include persons already accounted for in 2. or 3.B(iii)" .

This makes sense to me. because adding number 1 to the box would increase the number of persons to calculate income. So I am not adding a number 1 into the box

Confusion is, if I am not adding anything here, the whole section is blank and CIC officer may think , I did not filled here anything and left blank.

However, section 4 heading says as above "Complete this section only if your spouse or common-law partner is co-signing the undertaking"

So i am co-signer and leaving section blank...is it correct to leave blank? can any one please confirm, what i am doing is correct?

I have another question for same form:

Question is regarding the following section

14. Provide your employment history as well as periods of unemployment for the last THREE consecutive taxation years preceding your application. Please ensure that you do not leave any gaps in time.

So under this question there is table for "Employment history" with the columns "From, To, Gross Income and Family Size". I am working for same employer last 5 years.

1. So do I need to add 5 years's income here? or just year by year. Each years income in each one row?
2. I had sponsored my Widow mother couple of years before. I have 2 Kids and a wife. My wife sponsoring two (Father and mother) parents. So family size would be 4 (Me + My Wife + our two Kids) or 5 (Me + my wife + our two kids + my mother) or 7 (Me + My wife + our two kids + My Mother + My Wife's Parent's).

Please let me know, if any question i can clarify. Thank you very much

Last month I got confirmation that I meet the eligibility conditions for sponsoring my parents and the file is transferred to visa office CPC Ottawa for further processing. My parents have Indian citizenship and they are in India. My question is why the file is transferred to Ottawa instead of New Delhi ? Is it normal ?
Now my parents have received the medical and pcc request. I don't know where to send pcc document.
Please help.

Question regarding Financial Evaluation (IMM 5768): I was working as IT contractor from 2014, 2015, 2016 and moved to employment in mid 2016 since then I am on employment. I incorporated myself and was billing through my corporation. As you know corporation financial years start from July and end Jun next year and Personal tax year is Jan to Dec. In this scenario how I fill employment history;
example 01:
2014-07-01 to 2015-06-30 xxxxx $$$$$$
2015-07-01 to 2016-06-30 xxxxx $$$$$$
2016-07-01 to 2016-12-31 xxxxx $$$$$$

example 02:
2015-01-01 to 2015-06-30 xxxxx $ (how to break total amount just divide by 2 etc please advise.)
2015-07-01 to 2015-12-31 xxxxx -------------------------------------

you fill it out according NOA even you is self-employee

I got an email today asking for my parent's divorce certificate ( I am sponsoring my mother only) from 1979. I am not sure if she can find it and it was in USSR which we left more then 20 years ago. What do you think should I do if we do not find it? I am not keeping contact with my father who lives in completely different country.

Yes am using the same amount but it has some cents as well. Did your income shows cents as well into that form ? I mean If I add cents it still won’t shows up just a dollar amount.
