I have put in sponsorship for my husband and daughter in jamaica to come to canada since Aug 25 of 2017. Almost 1 year last time site updated march 2018 its unacceptable. What does it take to get accurate response. Am seeing alot of negative response from kingston canadian embassy.

Welcome to the group. Your the second Aug 2017 applicant waiting on here. We have one May 2017 and myself June 2017 still waiting. Just recently we had a member applied in April 2017 who just got his passport back. It looks like the process will take us longer members 16-17 months to complete.

What was the last update, that you received? Am shocked that there are so many ppl waiting for so long.. Has your spouse’s background check, started processing?

Last reply was medical approved in march 2018 background hasnt been checked as of yet

i put in my applicatiopn on aug 22/17 it got transferred to KVO on june 22/18 on june 26th KVO requested for Statement of relationship's which they received on july 9th and since then i haven't hear anything

Yes, from what I have read they have to be valid. I would suggest that your husband gets another police record completed and wait for them to request the medical.

1. Before marriage (if available if not why not – explain)
   
   
2. After marriage – all messages, what’sApp, IMO, Facebook, viber used- from husband and wife
   
   
3. Any exchange of gifts
   
   
4. Money transfer receipts
   
   
5. Any exchange of pictures
   
   
6. And any other documents you think which proofs your relationships is ongoing and genuine

smh thats not right...they should complete everything b4 they expire ....getting the medical and police clearance are not cheap

yes i did ...but i think they really wanted to see the communication between us after we got married

yes, when I first file the paperwork. I had to show them pictures and conservation from the start of the relationship to the marriage, had to send copy of Western Union transition had to show all proof of all travels I have made to see him.
