WES status "Received Documents Awaiting Verification"

I too have received a notification from WES that my process is on hold as they have to re-verify from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Indeed the transcript was sent directly from the university.

Reason: WES has requested further verification from the issuing institution and is waiting for their response.

Instructions: Please allow time for your institution to respond. WES will proceed with your evaluation as soon as we hear from your institution.

"We are waiting for your institution(s) to verify your documents.".

In most cases, the university will never take the pain to respond to these queries.This is like creating unnecessary trouble to people.

I don't know what to do now?

Well my friend's University has entered the 10 digit and everything correctly. The only stupid thing they did was that they sent the documents via post (that too indian post). It ideally should have reached them today. I hope to my friend's WES status changes soon !

Can you help me with this -
From where can I get this 10 digit number
I don't have the tracking details of what WES has sent to the university.
How to approach the University as I don't have any details

Hi All,

So I received my results today. After all the delay I am happy to get my results.

So I will repeat the steps I followed -

1. Inform your university (registrar or exams Dept.) that an email has been sent by Wes regarding verification.
2. Call and Confirm with them after few days if they have replied. (Univerisity can verify over email as well as it was done in my case. Getting a written reply and posting may take additional time.)
3. Once the above step is done, contact Wes and request them to check their email and update your profile.
4. If Wes says they have not received, contact university again.
In my case this happened but a day after I received this response from Wes, they had updated my profile to 'evaluation under process' . So I am not sure who was delaying the process.
5. Be patient, I know it's hard and a nail biting process. But if it worked for me it might work for you as well.

Step 1 - call your uni ask them to revert back on email.

Hi,

Checked with PTU today, got the information that they are getting the request for verification of Transcript from last couple of months & they do revert on the same. Checked if they have received the request by WES as of today, but no luck.

Still waiting for verification request to be received by PTU. Asked me to call after 5 - 6 days.

Will keep posting!!!

My status went "On hold" as the university person told me a different process & didn't mention the reference no. on the verification letter that WES provided via post/ email, while they added my ref. no.
I wasn't aware that WES has a separate ref. no. that they provide when they send docs for a verification process & now my application is delayed cos of this. I so feel that WES should involve the candidates as well in this process as the uni wont help or support unless the student visits them 5-6 times & plead.

My university says that they will give me an envelope for the verification request & I will have to post it on my own. Do I mention my reference no. on the envelope?
Also, if yes then which reference no. should be mentioned
1. My Ref. no. that I received when I created a WES profile.
2. The one which WES sent to the university for the Verification request.

This process is extremely unorganized as the university is least bothered & lack of cooperation. They don't check mails or attend calls, it's so easy to just revert on the mail with the scanned doc. They are not even ready to mail the Verification letter which they are providing in an envelope.

Please help if you know about mentioning the ref. no. on the verification envelope.....

My Master's transcript was from PTU and I am in the same position as you were.

Can you update on your status, how long does PTU take to respond?

I contacted PTU Examination department but didn't receive any timelines.

hi @navneet_0909, @sahil678, im also in the same position university received twice mail from WES but still, they are not responding. i am calling daily but not getting any response from department, simply saying wait for 5 days. WES sent mail on 14th June but still no clarity whether university responded or not please help me if you have any numbers to reach university guys.

seriously university doesn't have any seriousness and not even responding need to call them 50 times if im so lucky enough they will pick calls. drop mail to VC, RTI but no response.
please help me, guys, if u have any other sources.

I have got the number of PTU examination department 182 266 2531 .
Called them numerous times, still no luck!
Either the phone is busy or no one picks up the call.

we have visit personally since i got one solution as university asked 50rs for verification purpose which thry sent mail to WES but WES is not even inform to us.

my friend visited last week control of exam department ppl asked him to pay amount 50rs due to this university put on hold it seems. my friend paid the amount. but concern person is not available asked to wait till Monday. let me check my luck.

I called up casually and to my surprise,it was answered.
The person who attended asked me for my student roll number and pretended that he was checking something (chit-chatting with a colleague).
Finally the golden words flowed - system isn't working , call us on Monday.

The person who attended asked me for my student roll number and pretended that he was checking something (chit-chatting with a colleague).
Finally the golden words flowed - system isn't working , call us on Monday.

try to followup with WES. i heard the university has sent a mail about verification fee to WES. they need to give us clarity how to proceed further. call to tollfree number once
