Hi guys!
Anybody who submitted documents on April and May have any updates?
Just want to have an idea of how the process is going for everyone and when to expect an answer
- We received your application for a permanent resident card on April 16, 2018.
- We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 25, 2018.
- We started processing your application on July 25, 2018.
- Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on July 30, 2018.
- Card received August 2, 2018

Just got an updated on ecas yesterday (Aug 8) saying they received my app on May 3, no AOR yet

I called them yesterday....
The agent told me no additionnal document requested, my file is checked (no document is missing) but not treated or in progress.
She told me I have no chance to have news before september.... but one of my friend submited her file the 16th avril and she received her card 3 days ago. An other one the 10th and no news...
I have a plane ticket for the 24th august.... I am supposed to leave for 10 days...

I sent my application on Aug 8th, but Canada post shows it will arrive on 13th...
I've booked air ticket at the end of Sept. Asked for urgent with tickets and notice of a training course. The good thing is at most I will lost a small refund fee, I will buy another ticket starting from Detroit if I cannot get my card at that time

By the way, how to check online status? Do they send me email if they start working on my case?

I recalled them today 108 days . Still no news but the agent told me it's not normal. He sent a request to ask them why... The agent asks me recall them monday or tueday : notes should be added in my file

Call them. Ask them to send an inquiry to sydney because your have more than 98 days of waiting.
For me
We received your application for a permanent resident card on April 25, 2018
No AOR
But today (for the 1st time - I call them each day) they told me by phone they started the process yesterday.
Last friday afternoon the agent sent a request to sydney to ask why It's so long for me.

How to access ecas for PR renewal? Which one to pick? I choose client ID with the 8 digit number from PR card, it doesn't work.
Today they tell me it's not in treatment at all....
So yesterday the agent lied to me!? Why?
The agent tells me that he can't send an other request to sydney before 3 months (!!!) if we don't have news after the request of last friday....
