Good day everyone,
According to 'Application for Canadian citizenship under subsection 5(1) – Adults 18 years of age and older (CIT 0002)', these are some of the documents that must be submitted. Here is my dilemma (my comments italicized):
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Photocopy of personal identification. Examples of identification you can use include:
Also stated in the same link is:
"Note: You cannot use your permanent resident card as identification."
So I'm at a loss. Are there other personal identification I can use to submit for my citizenship application?
Thank you!
- driver’s license; - I don't have this. Not driving yet.
- health insurance card - I have this but it is going to expire very soon and mine doesn't show my face on it. Not sure if going to renew it (for financial reasons).
- senior citizen’s card - Not applicable. Not yet a senior.
- age of majority card - I've read somewhere this isn't considered anymore. Is it true?
