Hi everyone I'm applying for study permit today I have got my acceptance letter and all the other document but I have one problem that I am afraid I might get rejected for

My grand father name is spelled in two different way in my passport and my fathers passport so when I try to fill the application I don't know how to write his name in which way. Second thing is the bank statement has his name written the same way it's written in his passport


Last thing is do I have to pay a semester before applying?

Just follow your passport name. You are the applicant. Regardless whatever is written on your fathers passport. Just write those names which is written in your passport.
Given Name (must as per passport)
Sir name/Last Name (must as per passport)
Middle Name(optional)

Look usually bank account titles are given as per National identity Card of your home country/residence country. Its ok to attach the same bank account statement. Plus also attach National identity card (English translation if not in english) of your father with passport.

Yes you have to pay semester fee atleast to show visa officer that you are capable of doing the study with enough funds. Plus you have to show next semester fee in your/father bank account and your 1 year living expenses in your/father bank account.

There is a form that asks me to write the name of family members how should I write his name also if he wants to accompany me I will have to submit his passport which will have different spelling wouldn't that make the visa officer uncomfortable ?

Hi Ahmed,

In order to be safe, first you must apply in Public Colleges or Public universities, means those who are fully funded by Canadian Government. Secondly, check you college's International Refund Policy, usually public colleges deduct only CAD 200 against administration charges rest of the amount they would refund it.

Ahmed, I don't think the form asks about your grandparents so no name needed. All you need to provide is your parent's and siblings' details

You just need to provide Sir name and given name of your father and other family members. If you are going to attach father passport copy then write it as per fathers passport. And for othet siblings attach their ID cards and write their names as mentioned there.
And dont worry. Just mention names as per official docuemnts. Do not worry. If you are making your father passport as a reference then use that name. But now you are saying he is having spelling mistakes in ID card and passport. In best openion use the same document as mentioned on bank statement.

Look calculate the amount.

1st year tuition fee + annual expanse 10000+ some extra amount for travelling
Usually first year tuition fee is around 22000 depends on uni.
If you are in posession of over 35000 CAD then you are good to go. But i recommend show as mush as wealth back in home country so that visa officer will convince on that you have valid reasons to go back to home country

Pay the 1st semester fee atleast. And check your university/college what is their refund policy. Usually many of them refund before 10 days of session commence day also they can deffer your admission letter to next semester if your processing got delayed.

There is a form called family info
It asks to write info about my family including their names so I write my full name then my fathers full name

Let's say his name on passport is John (Adams )
And my name is Jorden john (adame) which way should I write it

You apply alone. Your father will have to apply for his own visitor visa when he wants to visit. Write all names as they are in the passports.

so i shouldnt apply for him as an accompanying family member if he wants to come with me when i arrive to canada
