Documents required for WES ECA

Hi Everyone,

Please help me with my concern, I am also about to start my process for Express entry into Canada.

I have few questions kindly reply:
1. I have done Graduation from not so famous university and they are not ready to send any transcript to WES, so how to take it further?
2. I have also done my Masters from a good university and they will send the transcripts to WES, so do I also need to send my Graduation docs?
3. My wife also has done Graduation and PG both from a good university, so can I apply for Express entry program through her education credential and make her the lead in our process?

I know there are some points for spouse education also, so if I be the secondary member will my PG points would add into the application? How much are those points?

i have another query as well.
1) Is it necessary to pay HST(harmonized sales tax) if you applying from INDIA? What if i apply without HST?
2) All the mark-sheets are necessary to provide if i have a transcript and degree certificate?

If you are applying from India, you can ignore HST

only university transcripts envelope is required for WES.

Please, note, only the highest degree gives your points. So if your highest degree can be evaluated, it is sufficient. There are many options than WES. I have same case as you and I got it done by BCIT, BCIT is expensive though.

There is nothing before and after. you will be evaluated only when they get both copies and transcripts.

You can collect the transcripts and send them to WES yourself.

Any one here who done the WES ECA having qualification as Diploma then Engineering (3 years) ? If yes, please let me know what is the outcome from WES and should we provide any specific docs to WES ? Please post your reply ASAP.

Diploma - 4 years Course (eg: Computer engineering from NIRMA UNIVERSITY)
Engineering - 4 years course but as i am diploma student got lateral entry (direct entry to 2nd year) so my engineering course duration is 3 years

My Question: Does anyone in the forum has got the evaluation done having above qualification with course duration ?
ie: after Diploma done engineering with 3 years (lateral entry to engineering)

My Question: Does WES understand what is Lateral Entry in engineering in India and does they consider my engineering as Degree ?

My Question: Do I have to send all the mark-sheets, migration certificate along with Transcript and degree certificate? or only transcript and degree certificate are enough?

I guess I replied on this, YES WES understands Lateral Entry.

They will evaluate your Engineering after Diploma as Bachelors.

You will have to send transcripts of your Diploma and Degree both.

You can ignore HST if you are applying from India.
