All - I have been to 17 countries across Europe in multiple trips across many years. I only have entry and exit stamps on my passports as you can travel freely within Europe. My passport was used during booking and check in trains, flights and ferry's- sometime by cops as well during normal checking.

Now the problem that I am facing is that I just don't remember the trips that I had taken and the dates as well. Also, most of the travel happened during the 2 months time I was doing backpacking across Europe. During that time I used to travel by trains and there have been times when in morning I was in one country and in evening in another.

Could you guys please suggest how to handle this for travel history?

Just make sure nothing contradicts with the dates and locations on your passport. You should be fine.

All the stamps on the passport are going to be duly covered in the travel history. That part is easy. Do they have mechanism to check in which country a person was based on travel information sharing by airlines, ferries and trains in Europe?

Nothing like that, they calculate 6 months of continuous stay in a country by your travel history. And it should match with your immigration stamps.

Just FYI - I have traveled from Singapore to Australia multiple times. Since I am a resident in SG my passport is not stamped as I can scan my fingerprints and leave. In AU I had an e -visa and my passport was not stamped there either. In this scenario there is nothing on my passport to show all AU trips. Though I am declaring the same in travel history as these trips were recent and I have flight information.

But there must be some info sharing or something through which they can track beyond the stamps?

I had similar case where in I have traveled to SG and AUSTRALIA a lot and most of the cases, i entered with finger prints. However, my travel history was accurate as I use to create a folder on my Gdrive with all my photos of that travel, so I was able to define accurately.
