Maternity leave included or not in the Work Experience?

Hi guys,

I'm about to submit my profile and have some questions related to work experience:

First some background information: I've been working for the same employer for the past 4 years and will be returning to them in September when my maternity leave will be over. The company has been bought 2016 by Honeywell, but in the official papers+stamps, it still has the old name.

Question 1:
How do I integrate the maternity leave? Do I split the period in 2, one before maternity leave, and the rest after until present, leaving a gap in time? Or do I just add one row of experience from 2014 until present?

Question 2:
As we have been acquired by Honeywell, should I change the name of the company in the Work experience? As I mentioned, all the official papers will be with the old stamp and name, as the procedure of changing the name registered with the authorities is quite complicated, so it will probably not be changed for a while.

Question 3:

Is there any comments field in the express entry profile (not only) where I could write couple of comments like the ones above, explaining the situation?

Were you on retained by the company during this Mat leave? If yes no need to split any experience or anything. It should be counted as continuous

You should mention Honeywell that’s the present name of your org. I would suggest you to get a reference letter on the Honeywell letter head. Include in your document the offer letter/employment letter that you wld have received in 2014. Include a reference(internet link or a letter from organization) that Honeywell acquired your previous org.

I will be working for the same company, but according to romanian law , the contract gets suspended and reactivated with a decision at the point when I'm back.

I probably can ask an employment letter with the Honeywell header, but it will contain the old company stamp. But I can add the link to the Honeywell announcement, which should be enough. Which leads me to my third question, which I completed just now as it seems half got erased.
Is there any comments field or way of communicating with the officer taking over my case and sending such explanations?

Ok help me under this better.... Mat Leave
-You are a FSW and your work experience from 2014 onward is outside Canada?
-When did you go on to Mat leave ? Mon/Year ?

As a FSW max point that you get is for 3 yrs work experience.

Work Experience Letter
-Employment Letter should be the one Elster provided you originally in 2014.
-The link you provided is fine. you can include it in the description field
-Work Experience - Reference letter that highlights your position, start date-end date(of each position) along with salary package, work hours/week, should be on Honeywell letter head.
-Include salary slips of the last 6 months that you have worked(although it is not mandatory, but I would suggest you do)

Yes, I am an FSW with 14+ years of experience outside Canada, out of which around 9 years as Purchasing Manager, Supply chain Manager or Materials Manager.
I work in Elster since 2014, but previously used to work for Nokia, Celestica & other automotive industry suppliers. I have plenty of experience if I leave the maternity leave out as a period.

I went in maternity leave on March 2017 and will be back at work on 3rd of September (romanian law allows up to 2 years of maternity leave and your employer needs to take you back after that period, or sooner if you decide you want to come back earlier).

Yeah so just put the period of anything before maternity leave (the period of work 3 yrs which you can back up with a reference letter from the company), rest all go to your personal history/activities folder

Do the above provide you all the clarification Ms. competition :D ?
Yes, thank you so much!
I still need to check where the description filed is, but you pretty much covered what I was interested in.

Hope I'm not gonna be competition anymore by this time next year. :)
