I believe, it is CPC Sydney.

Yes, that's the AOR 2 ... Congrats...

I got a letter on post last week and the letter mentioned that the application has been forwarded to NDVO for processing. The letter was dated 27th June. Is that AOR2?

So, where did you do the Landing ? Border or Inland ?

And for OHIP, you dont necessarily have to wait 3 months... your approval date will be considered for the 90 day start. You can go ahead and apply. They'll put you in records and provide you the card with the activation date as 90 + approval date.

I got interview landing letter from Etobicoke, Toronto office very quick just after a day speaking to CIC agent (Waited for 1 hour on phone to connect to this agent) and i did landing there. I did requested OHIP for that and explained what you mentioned, but unfortunately when i applied service ontario guys told me - No i still need to wait 3 months and i got transaction record stating that my coverage will start in Oct 2018 - WHICH IS WEIRD,
I told him that we landed in Oct 2017 and clearly states when we came to Ontario, this is very common in Mississauga, but when people go to Toronto Service ontario - it is totally different - I dn;t know why

Hi Jailika, would you mind sharing the timeline for your child's application. Thanks
Timeline goes like this
Submitted application on 15 Aug 2017
AOR1 - 27 Sept 2017 - acknowledgment via email
AOR2 OR 1 - don;t know - 7 Oct 2017 - email asking for additional photograph
No news until Feb 2018, and i initiated the GCM notes where i found that CIC has sent letter asking for updated IMM0008 form (as applicant moved to Canada on TRV, so they wanted updated information like address and all) - and letter dated was Nov 7 2017, but i never recieved this letter or email. I also sent webform inquiry - 4 times from Oct 2017 to Feb 2018 - none of the agent told me that i need to submit updated IMM0008 form

I only came to know through GCM notes

Once they recieve IMM0008 form in March 2018,
April 2018 - Medical
May 2018 - approval on eligibiltiy
May 2018 - transfer to London office
June 2018 - Decision Made
July 2018 - Finally PR

My timeline is similar to yours
Submitted - July 27, 2017
AOR1 - Sept 10, 2017
Medical requested - September 11, 2017
Medical done - September 12, 2017
AOR2 - July (i got an email that CPC Mississauga will continue to process the application - not sure if this is AOR 2)
I have sent Webform - 3 to 4 times

Question -
1. Is the email I received that CPC MIssissauga will continue to process application considered AOR2. Seems like it takes 1 month to move to decision made.
2. My medical was done on September 11, 2017 so technically it will expire on September 11, 2018

I am worried. Any suggestions besides initiating GCM notes? The other spouse is not available now or would not sign the GCM notes request so I am stuck.

Were you able to reach the call centre and ask them about the status?

Did you have co-signer on the sponsorship application? Did you sign on behalf of your child on the PR application or was it co-signed? If you did not have a co-signer, you could sent a GCM notes request is my guess.

The call center gives a standard reply which is - the application is in process and we will notify you if anything changes or if we need any documents.

Since the child is minor, I signed on behalf of the child. It was not co-signed. I have sent a reply to the email I got and explained my situation. Lets hope they agree to send me the notes. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I had to submit 'Declaration from non-accompanying Parent/Guardian for Minors Immigrating to Canada (IMM 5604)' in your case, you might require that from your spouse. If you already have it, you shouldnt have a problem.

In the application form it states that you should be providing form 5604 from other spouse. If you can't you should give an explanation. Reading on the forum it seems that if a form is missing and is needed, they return the application. If its in process then the chances are they are happy with the explanation. But time with tell.

Hi,
I am a Canadian PR holder and will be moving to Toronto soon.
Once I am there, I wish to start the PR sponsorship process of my minor daughter who is six years old.
She will remain in India with my parents while i get her PR ready in Canada.
My question is, should i take my daughter's passport with me to Canada or leave it here with my parents?
I am not sure where I will be asked to send her passport for stamping. Whether it will be to Canadian consulate in New Delhi or to IRCC office in Canada?? Can someone please help me with this question?
Thanks a lot
