Hi Jailika,Today I finally received a letter and passport with stamp in it. But CoPR document is different from what is receved for outland applicant ?
I am confused - letter is just PR visa instruction saying to call IRCC or exit through land or air, but question is where is CoPR ? is it the visa sticker only ?
Does it mean they will send separatly CoPR as i understand for booking appointment - i need to have CoPR
can anyone please suggest who has similar experience ?
Hi Everyone ,
After a short landing in 2015, I moved to Canada for good in May 2018 and rest of my family is planning to move in July 2018.
I have a US born (2016) daughter. I assume bringing her to Canada on US passport will not be an issue but for safety I'm trying to file PR application before her arrival date. Since i have got only two pay checks , will it be possible to become a sponsor(One of the form its asking for 12 months net salary preceding to application date). I would appreciate your suggestion on my situation for child sponsor. Is there any alternate possible way ?
As far as I know this pilot program still needed the COPR. While the landing was done on phone, the person had to mail the signed copies back to IRCC and they received a stamped copy back. Unless it is a new pilot, i dont see how this is done without COPR. I guess facts will unfold since most of the time they do pilot without informing publicJailika,
And regarding you CoPR. Did you call the IRCC and check. What does the letter in the mail say?
There's a pilot program happening for Phone-CoPR. i.e., you dont have to cross the border, but they'll select (random) profiles and let them "land" by phone. Are you one of them ?
In any case, please call IRCC soon and find out.
And please update us.
All the best.
1. If you issue a T4 from entity, you are employed.Hello Guys,
I have few questions regarding filling up form IMM 1283E Financial Evaluation form. I need to sponsor my 18 months old daughter. My wife is unemployed for now.
I am working from June 2018 as Independent contractor and Incorporated. I am drawing salary from my corporation.
1. Should I considered as Employed or Self Employed?
2. Will June and July Pay stubs will be enough to sponsor?
3. What information should I put as my 'Calculation of income based on the CRA Notice of assessment'?
Thanks in Advance!

2. Seems less to me
3. Line 150 of the notice of assessment
You don’t need to submit Financial Evaluation form when sposoring such a small child. You only need Sponsorship Evaluation form. We also couldn’t submit tax forms, but included one pay stub, bank statements and an employment letter. Hoping for the best...Thanks for quick response.
I just found out. I think I DO NOT need to submit IMM 1283E. I need to submit IMM 5484 instead As I am sponsoring my minor daughter.
Please, someone Correct me If I am wrong.

Thank u tozach..i may have some queries regarding the application procedure for pr..sponsorship...specific to ndvo ...can I dm u for ny further queriesHello Nayena,
I have been through a similar situation. One of the parents will have to travel to Canada and apply for a family class visa (dependent child). You cannot do it while you are outside Canada unless you are a citizen. You could also try for a TRV (visit visa) first for your daughter. Make sure that you explain very clearly the circumstances around the application. Unfortunately, TRVs are frequently rejected and you have to be lucky to be granted one. If you have a TRV, you can all travel together and apply for the sponsorship after you are in Canada.
In my case, the first TRV application was refused and I had to travel alone and apply for my daughters PR. It is not a great situation. I have applied for another TRV again with more documentation and explanations but I dont know if it will be granted. If you decide on one of the course of actions and have more questions, post it here and you will get help. All the best!
I am not sure if I will be able to help with anything specific to NDVO but I might be able to answer basic questions around the sponsorship application itself. You can DM with the questionsThank u tozach..i may have some queries regarding the application procedure for pr..sponsorship...specific to ndvo ...can I dm u for ny further queries
