Hmm... makes sense. The status is not Approved yet. As per the threads, people got approved status after 2-3 days of ghost update. Most probably It should be approved on Monday.Fingers crossed.
Hoping you get approved pretty soon.

Hi guys,If you sent photos on 5th June by ordinary post, then it will be delivered after 6-7 business days; which puts it at June 15th or 18th for them to receive them. Still they processed your photos and updated your profile??
If the profile update says "Approved", then there is no chance of another photo request. If it doesn't say "Approved", then it is completely a different game.
Can please you tell me which address did you send the photos to?!Hi guys,
My photos were received by CIC on June 13, 2018 as per tracking and I saw my CIC account being updated on July 12th Morning. If this helps...Thanks.

My application status has been changed to Approved nowHi guys,
My photos were received by CIC on June 13, 2018 as per tracking and I saw my CIC account being updated on July 12th Morning. If this helps...Thanks.
I was wondering why so many people are getting photo requests? What was wrong with the photos you submitted upon landing?I landed on 4th April.I got photo request on 22nd May and I sent photos on 5th June by ordinary post.On 11th July, my profile got updated but no change in Status. I also called CIC, the agent said that they are processing the photos before 4th June.
However, when i told the CIC agent that I got a profile update today. Then the agent checked in his system and said that yes your profile has been updated today and it means that your photos has been accepted.Wait for another couple of days for PR card.
It clearly means that if we got update in Profile, there are no chances of photo re submission request again. Moreover, CIC agents are telling that they are processing before 4th june but they are actually processing after that too.
My status also changed to approved in my CIC account. The status is not Approved yet. As per the threads, people got approved status after 2-3 days of ghost update. Most probably It should be approved on Monday.Fingers crossed.
Does that mean you finally received your PR card?! Great news!Hello,
Is it safe to mail PR card overseas using Canada post? I might sound cheap but courier charges of mailing packages to my country are minimum $110 plus taxes which I found too much. As opposed to this regular post charges are around $3. Because of this huge difference I thought of considering Canada post provided it is safe. Also I don't care if it arrives in 3-4 weeks as I am not bound by time.
Any ideas on Canada post?
My child's status still shows 'Submitted' after nearly a month and half of receiving PR card. Meanwhile my spouse and mine shows "Application updated" since yesterday - we are still waiting for our cards. Both my spouse and I's PR card finally arrived. Our final timeline for all of this:
Landed: 05 April 2018
Photo Re-submission Request: 22 May 2018
Photos Received: 26/27 May 2018
Applications updated (Ghost update): 26 June 2018
Application Approved (Spouse): 28 June 2018 (morning)
Application Approved (Me): 28 June 2018 (afternoon)
PR Card Received by Mail (Spouse): 04 July 2018
PR Card Received by Mail (Me): 09 July 2018
PS. Anybody else get through the whole thing but still notice their PR Application has still not been updated on MyCIC from submitted to approved? The details show as approved, but in the main window, nothing has changed. Not a big deal as we did land and now got our cards.
Unfortunately, web queries or even phone calls don't help when it comes to tracking PR card applications The only thing to do is to wait. All the best.Landing: April 19
Photo request: July 9
Total 80 days passed since landing. I did send web inquiry twice but the reply wasn't much of a help and was lacking in details. Anyway, I think in a few cases there may a good delay. It's all about keeping patients because we can't do much about their process.
Will keep you guys posted.
