Dear All,
I lived in India till 2012, then I was working in Singapore from June 2012 to July 2014. And then I was working in Qatar from August 2014 till date.
I already have a PCC issued from Embassy of India in Singapore on May 2014, for my job application in Qatar. The wording in the PCC says

"There is no adverse information against Mr.XXXXX holder of Indian Passport Number XXXXX, issued at XXXXX on XXXXXX, which would render him ineligible for grant of travel facilities including Visa for QATAR."

As the letter says "QATAR", will IRCC accept this PCC for me? I didn't stay in India more than 6 months continuously after June 2012.

I tried contacting Indian embassy in Qatar. They said as per new guidelines from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India, Embassy in Qatar will issue PCC for use in Qatar only. So the new PCC issued today will have the same wording as I already have.

I though of getting a new PCC from Embassy of India in Qatar and then attach a LOE along with the e-APR.

Can any one give me some better options to deal with PCC from India. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you all in advance...

I don't know why they have the silly wording. I think you have to get a new pcc because a crime in canada might not be recognized as a crime in qatar, so if it says eligible for Qatar then doesn't necessarily make it eligible for canada.

The PCC from India is for the crimes committed in India not Qatar or Canada.
