That would be have been R10 check for document completeness, which normally takes place around the same time you submit your application...

Did you check with them about the Eligibility and Criminality part, has that been completed ? Has your BGC started or not ?

I dont know those details, the both times I have called they didnt give me too much detail....what should we do after the normal process time has been completed (6 months) which is next week?? submit an enquiry? I found a form you can submit if that happen... see link below:

Well I had ordered GCMS notes on 11 June, hoping to receive them soon to know what are they doing with my application.

I was told once, that you can involve your local MP if you are in Canada who can discuss with IRCC on your behalf. Maybe you wanna consider doing that ?

e.g. https://cbennett.liberal.ca/mp-service/constituent-services/

It is my understanding that the 6 months start counting until after R10 is completed, which is around 30-45 days after AOR. So, in theory your 6 months mark would be reached until the end of August or the beginning of September depending on when the R10 completeness took place.

Edit: Sorry, I just saw that your AOR is Jan14th, that would make it 7 months from AOR next week. I would still give it until the end of July, beginning of August.

Which would make complete sense (and I read that as well in this forum) that quite a few PPRs are at or around the 7 month mark that I've seen.

I read the same thing somewhere about R10 checks and all. Totally makes sense:)

We didn't travel too much, so no idea why it's taking so long. Last time I called there (about 3 weeks ago) they told me everything was approved and they were completing the security check. (First time I called they were completing the criminal check).
Everything should be approved by now.
On the other hand, now it's the time everyone is applying for study permits to come to Canada in September. So immigration officers must be really busy...
Oh, and the lady I spoke with told me I should have an answer by July 17. If not, I should call there again.
