***KINGSTON, JAMAICA **New Application**(as of Dec 7, 2016)***

not quite sure it has reached as low as 5 months ... I'm currently almost at 6 months

February applicant (was pregnant with second child when application was sent in)
Medicals sent with APP - Currently shows passed
Background check sent with app - not in process
KVO started processing May 1st ..

Still no change in ecas or gckey not sure when he will be called for interview .. hoping to have him here for august .. our first daughter starts school September


his background check has expired so we paid today for next day service so will send that to them on Monday even tho they haven't requested it yet...


this is stressing me out .. I can't sleep I'm always obsessing about it... 24/7 my mind Is on it .. I can't wait for him to be through with this process... I feel we need like a bulletin from KVO weekly.. saying we are processing so so idk SOMETHING .. lack of communication is killing me ..

A feb 1st applicant for dependent sponsorship just got PPR .. praying to hear about interview by mid July for august .. so he can come for sept ..

Oh gosh mama I'm feeling it for you please try not to stress in your condition. I know its very frustrating having to play this waiting game. Hut in the the other hand I feel when ever KVO starts back processing back our applications you will be the first to hear a reply since you have summited it since Feb.. Keeping you in my prayers. Happy Canada Day to the loved ones who have been reconnected in Canada. For us that are still waiting may this be our last Canada Day apart from our loved ones. Happy Canada Day! No delay in my process as they have never asked for anything besides the medicals last year July. When you email them it's a automatic reply application is in process. It's like I'm disturbing their sole.

Lord what's going on with the KVO office they need to do better my gosh this is wickedness. I really hope you hear from them soon for real enough is enough see my head is not good KVO would be seeing me straight up

Yes I'm missing some screws in my head, if God ever make my head tek me KVO would really see me... someone will have to tell me something asap... my husband passport would have to get stamp right there and then, after them can band me from ever coming back there to backside... hold the faith mama

Girl i am a christian and i really felt like cursing some bad words. 4 weeks tomorrow my kids passport stuck in the office. KVO did not process my childrens PR it was finalized by Canada. They were instructed to issue immigrant visa to my dependents on May 28th

Girl dont make the devil draw you out... just see it as a test from God him self. KVO should know about pressure cause I'm sure them feel it them self. It's wrong for me to say this but I feel it depends who handa our applications go in. I feel some of them are badmind and dont want to see them fellow Jamaicans do good in life and them sit down on people's applications. If that is the case then need to remember them judgement day will come. But that's my opinion. I really want to here that they put you child paper thru ASAP. Your in my prayers

Hey i thought they had new VAC or offices for visitors visa and so on. Also Kingston still deals with immigrant visa. This slow down crap has to stop. Its like they take a summer vacation on your case like people lives must stop for them. No man

They have TWO VACS in Jamaica one in Mobay and one in Kgn .. I know for a fact before the VACs they used to put immigration on hold or "go slow" because when my parents were doing the immigration process I went to apply for a visiting visa, and during my interview the officer brought up the immigration file and told me my family was approved for immigration and when we told her that we didn't know .. she said yeah they will contact you at the end of the summer when the bulk of student and visiting visas are completed. did that interview JUNE ... didn't hear from them re immigration until AUGUST ..

I know KVO also processes other islands as well its not just Kingston .. I believe they are responsible for cayman Barbados and one other country ...


the VACS should relieve some of this pressure though .. so idk .. but I'm praying they are working hard on immigration nd February applicants will be hearing from them in JULY!!
