Second: surprisingly, my status on ECAS was Dicision made for past 5 months and now they changed it to In - Progress.... Is it a good thing or bad thing? Please advise

Yes I tried 3 days ago and they said all is good. wait for mississauga to send me the oath req.

I am so much worried about it now

They might not done with ur background check it happen to some pple

I wont say its been fun waiting, cause there were days when I wanted to scream, but if it means anything, just be hopeful and try to stay cool. From my experience, call cic is even more irritating and sometimes frustrating so its really a waiting game of who can endure the longest lol. All the best to you guys! Your time is coming

Seriously, it was only in March when you had radio silence - rest all months you had something going on - for some of us who have had no communication since Dec after moving to IP is excruciatingly painful. Anyways good luck - and rest of us will wait and watch this SAUGA unfold

Call CIC and ask them, This is first time I heard?

Oh Lord..I had a plan of travelling in coming December.
Regretting on living in Mississauga

Even I don't know, how they are calculating one year processing time.
It start when they received your app OR when it went to IP

I have same situation as you
I got DM since Feb 5 and today it changes to in Process again.
I am Mississauga applicatant did test in Scarborough and they transferred my file again to Missississauga
I applied in August 2017, test on Feb 5

Same here mine turn to in process today but I am not going to worried because I think good news is coming.

Suggestions please:

My spouse is pregnant and we are expecting our first baby this fall. Can I ask for faster processing (test invite atleast) to avoid stress during final months of pregnancy? Will it backfire by cic delaying it further? We are Oct 16 2017 applicants and our applications are in process since Nov 23.
