today i just received the passport request email for my wife to let her go to beirut VFS global and provide her passports for visa stamp and COPR and all the process took 5 months and 13 days waiting only after they received our application in Jan 2018..

we are so HAPPY and more than HAPPY and we passed without interviews and more documents requests. as our relationship is since long time ago.

I din’ Think I will receive an answer before end of October. As I am seeing in our thread !!!!! And with vacations during this summer!!!

They told my husband between 2 and 3 months you may have a response 3 months after interview, we are already passed the 3 months

April 06 Application sent
April 10 Application received
April 25 they asked for Medical exam
April 27 we go an email saying my wife is eligible to sponsor me
April 28 i did my medical exam
Sept 20 asked for schedule A
Sept 22 schedual A sent
Nov 10 interview in canadian embassy in Lebanon
Nov 11 we recieved an email about pre arrival services
Nov 13 they asked for additional papers
Dec 04 paper where sent
March 16 Contacted embassy and they said we're in Security Check process final stage
June 01 sent an applicatiom through the website requesting information because it's been over a year
June 11 they replied saying application still in process and it may vary between each case.

Need help what else can we do...

Well reading jad’s times line I have less hopes to have te visas before 1 year

Hi Jad,

At this point there’s nothing really you can do. Background checks do take a long time and there isn’t an exact date to when they will be done.

When you order the notes you might be able to tell when they are planning to have your application processed. With mine i have a due date for January 24, 2019 but this could also change.

I saw that some people can ask for security check details can u advise how and who should i adress to check it out and get details and expected time.
