Two things today - got the medical passed (he had it done on Friday), and got a letter saying our application will be processed in Mississauga. Also for the background check - is it a letter that is received? in GCKey in the "details about your application status" section it says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" but it has said this for quite a while, I didn't notice when it started. Is this what is meant by the background check stage, or will we receive a notification?

Congrats , your process will become faster now , may i ask the letter you are talking about you have got is an email right ? Actually i have same timeline as yours and i am also at the same stage with background check in process but i haven't got any letter or email stating where they gonna process my application though. Also , may i ask which which country the PA is from ? Thanks

That’s pretty fast. My husband medical done on June 13. Didn’t hear anything back if he passed or not. And not even any new regarding file transfer yet. My application was received apr 19

I need to do sputum test and revived email from CIC yesterday. anybody have any idea how long its going to take. becoz doctor said test result takes upto 8 weeks.

why you have been ask to do so, i mean do you smoke or any childhood treatment you did ?

Thanks! I hope so! Yes, it was an email saying it would be processed in Mississauga. I hope you'll get this info soon - every little piece is an encouraging sign that it's moving forward. PA is from France.

Hi. CIC-Mississauga had sent me a letter to send additional document like originals of old school and voters id by 6-30-2018 which I did and was delivered yesterday at 12pm (6-27-2018). Last night at 8pm (6-27-2018) I received that my file has been transferred to Delhi. I called IRCC this morning (6-28-2018) to ask where my documents are or if they have also been sent to New Delhi. They told me to call me back after 2 weeks to know more about the sent additional documents. I had uploaded a copy of the sent documents electronically though using my IRCC account.They confirmed my file has been transferred. Does anyone know how the additional requested documents get transferred to New Delhi from Mississauga?
