For those who want to score 8777 in IELTS..I would suggest you to start from the scrap.i.e make your grammar very strong..Then start practising all the test..If you go to IELTS materials.com you will find many books. Also read
newspaper and listen to bbc radio.Think in English.I scored 8.5,8,7.5,7 in my very first attempt.Though it's not CLB 10 and I am at 438 but owing to the current trend I am hopeful.

Will this have any effect on CRS or number of invitations?
Likely to lead to higher decline rate at least in first few draws. If CIC wants to maintain a certain number of PR from each draw they should ideally raise the invitations. To may be 4000 in next few draws.

Guys, very important news. Deadline for submitting e-apr post ITA has been changed to 60 days from 90 days currently (applies to ones who will get ITA post 26 June 18)
New deadline to complete your permanent resident application
The deadline to submit your application for permanent residence is now 60 days.

  • If you were invited to apply before June 26, 2018, you still have 90 days to complete your application.
  • If you’re invited to apply after June 26, 2018, you’ll have 60 days to complete your application.

Hi

Had a few queries:

I am a citizen of India, and resident in the uk since 2014. I have got my Indian PCC from Uk through the Indian consulate and UK PCC in place as well.

I am expecting to receive ITA hopefully soon and had a question about the PCC.

1)I am planning to travel to India in mid July for a month . If I don’t receive ITA by then, will I need to get another PCC while I am in India (though it’s just for a month and the website says 6 months in a row) or the one I currently have from the India consulate in uk be sufficient.

2)also if I am returning back to the uk by August end, will I need another uk PCC as well.

3)can upfront medicals be done before we leave or can they be done from India.

Thanks

Why do you think this will increase decline rate?

1. You will need India PCC again. Only for your country of residence it can be within last 6 months, for all others after you have left that country
2. If your UK PCC is more than 6 months old by the time you get an ITA then yes otherwise no
3. Medicals can be done from any part of the world but valid for only one year.

You will need a new pcc for India. No need new pcc for UK. Why dont you do the medicals when you are back from your holidays?

Hi All,

Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!

I will get most probably my ITA in some time for today draw as my score is 474. But I have one doubt related to my application. It would be really great if someone can answer that:

I have started working in Canada on 26-June-2017 and still working with same company till date. I got 48 points for 1 year of Canada experience in May 2018 itself and I was declining the ITA till now. I will be completing my actual one year by today EOD and I will get ITA today for draw happened in the morning. Will it be considered of 1 year completion or not if I get ITA today or my work experience will be counted by 1 day short. Will it be safe with submitting my e-APR by accepting this draw?

Thanks in advance
Why did you create profile before completing 1 year. cic website mention clearly that "Applicants should not create profile before compleeting 1 year".

I also started my Job on 26th June 2017. I waited for today to create and submit profile.
