Hi All,

I am going to submit my Express entry profile soon. Need help from you all wonderful people:

1) For work experience I have more than 9 years of experience. But since I need to only show them experience of 3 years to claim maximum points therefore while filing the work experience - I can just include one of my employer where i worked for more than 3 years in last 10 years? is that ok?
2) With that particular employer - I worked in 2 roles - First role for around 2 years and second role for around 1 years 6 months. So Do I need to fill two work experience rows with each having different roles I have had?
3) For my Spouse - Her WES ECA is bachelors degree (4 years) and 1 year PG Diploma. So I need to enter two rows for education right? and for both of them I need to enter the same WES code? As we did one ECA from WES for both the degrees? Further though WES recognized our masters as 1 year PG diploma - But when we are filling the profile we should mention Masters only right? In WES section for that Masters we will select the 1 Year PG diploma.

Thanks in advance and look forward to responses.

1) Yes you can do, rest of the experience you can put in personal history and attach LoE to explain the same.
2) Are both for same NOC then not necessary, otherwise yes. Titles does not matter.
3) Yes enter both and same WES reference, select what WES recognized it as.

Hi guys,

I am about to submit my Express Entry profile, and I am gathering all the supporting documents necessary. I got the Identity History Statement from the FBI and herein lies my question:

In October 2016, I was arrested in Los Angeles and charged with a DUI, and my court date was set for Jan 2017. My attorney convinced the District Attorney to drop my case and I never had to appear in court and all charges were dropped. (My Breathe Alcohol count was below the limit, I had not hit any person or property, I just got pulled over for driving with tinted windows).

Anyway, this arrest record shows up in the FBI document, and I am wondering if it will create any issues for me during my Canadian PR process. I have an official letter from the LA County stating that the court will not press any further charges (clean chit).

Please advise.
Just be truthful about it in your application, you can always explain via LoE the actual facts, it will not affect your chances if you state the truth. Also you would need PCC from US if you stayed more than 6 months.

Thanks - For point 2 - yes both are for same NOC - If I mention just one work experience then what job title do I put? The last one or first one.

The last one.
and when I submit the reference letter from my company they will mention my roles and responsibilities. In that they will mentioned 2 roles I have had- Will that not create problem?

Is there any harm in mentioning 2 work experiences for one particular company?

Letter can state 2 roles, you can do same in EE profile also but remember it will expect documentation to be provided against each line item you enter for work experience. Now you can upload same documentation for both or enter only one row. Upto you.

Thanks- Now I see the merit of just putting one line item.

My real sister is PR in Canada. I am also planning for it and want to include the blood relation sibling points in my profile. but there is an issue as my mother name (Sukhjinder) is correct in my sister's document but in my documents it is Sukhwinder. Would the same name affidavit be sufficient for it or i have to take some other measures??

That is the right way to do to avoid any unnecessary paperwork....you can mention these details in the personal history section later on...

Hi!

I have uploaded the scan of the original police certificate with its translation for my EE application. But I forgot to upload the translator's copy of PCC which is attached to the translation and states "Copy corresponds to the Original". Is that going to be a problem?

I hope I am over thinking about this. I would really appreciate if someone shares his/her experience.

This might sound un-appealing but this score can’t get you anywhere....have you taken IELTS test? If yes what was score?
