No updates I guess...People at IP1 have been stuck at IP1 like FSW-outland...while others in CEC are stuck at IP2....May AOR is so quiet? Not a single update?

Thanks legalfalcon, I really appreciate your reply.There are two factors that determine where your application will be processed.
1. Your country of residence - The visa office which will issue your the PPR will always be the VO in your country of residence. This is where you will send your passport. After the application is processed initially at CIO, it is sent to LVO for further processing.
2. The country where you claim your work experience. - In some cases where IRCC wants to verify your work experience, they will send your application to the country where you worked, before it is sent to the LVO. This is because for some application local knowledge is important.
If you change your country of residence, you should inform IRCC of the same, this will change your LVO. For US residents CPC Ottawa is the LVO. It is faster in processing than the Paris LVO.

Is it possible to get a PPR from IP1,does it mean IRCC might skip updating IP2 on our account? btw whats the average time taken from IP1 to IP2/PPR?
