https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html calculate your score based on these 6 factors and see if you are able to score minimum 67/100 if so you are eligible for FSW

Hi many thanks for your revert.

I did my checks with the link u provided and I do make over 80 points in this process and looks like I do qualify under the federal skilled program.

The question that I have now is how is the federal skilled worker linked to the express entry process and what the minimum that I need to get to qualify through the express entry process, or are they not linked at all with each other

They are linked. The above link I sent you was to see if you qualify for FSW category under EE and looks like you do. So go ahead and create your profile in CIC.

Hi Vaishnavi,

Many thanks for your quick response, I checked in the express entry points calculator and it seems I am making around 387 points ... Is this good enough for me to be qualified as candiate for the express entry or are my points lesser than required... What can I do to increase my chances

Not meaning to de-motivate you but the last cut-off was 451 so at 387 you really don’t stand a chance in the near future of getting an invite else you look at any PNP option. You should max up on your IELTS score...
