How would you fill the travel history for such case:

I was living in country A on 01-Sep-2016
I traveled to country B for tourism purposes for 10 days on 15-Sep-2016 (from country A)
I relocated to country C on 01-Oct-2016 to reside in there
I traveled to country D for tourism purposes for two weeks on 01-June-2017 (from country C)

Here's how I filled it in the profile:

From: 15-Sep-2016 To: 25-Sep-2016 Country: B, Tourism
From: 01-Oct-2016 To: 01-June-2017 Country: C, Relocation
From: 01-June-2017 To: 14-June-2017 Country: D, Tourism

Is this correct way of putting it in travel history? Not confusing for VO?

I have mentioned every country that I have visited apart from home country. In some cases i travel from home country to other one and in some cases I traveled from other country to other countries and back.

You only need to list B and D.
You sure? I heard you should base your travel history on the passport stamps. In that case, my relocation has stamps in the passport. So you're saying "relocation for residing, changing residency" is not considered travel and they will be clear if I simply skip B.

The thing is that I relocated twice, meaning that I changed my country of residence twice in the last 10 years. Not only that but I traveled to other countries from these countries countries for tourism purposes. I thought it may become confusing if I skip mentioning about the moves between residency change countries as they are considered a travel as well? or they're not?

IMO don’t skip anything. As long as you follow date and country trail, you should be fine. If you think something is going to confuse VO, you can definitely put up your case in LOE. But definitely don’t skip, as if they find you have failed to mention something and it is evident that you did, they will mostly reject the application.

All travel stamps out and in with dates.

Yes. You only need to list short trips outside your country of residence, not your country of residence itself. There is a different section in which you can put your past activities and address history, there you will put details about countries A and C.

This is wrong. So what if you move to a different country and have been living there for a few years, how would you come up with your 'end date'? The form will not validate if you leave it empty.

Read the form correctly it tells you trips outside your country of residence. If you have traveled to a different country and become a temporary resident whether for study or work then this will go in your activity time line and address history.

They cannot reject an application if the required information is already present in a different section in the application.

If the form was filled incorrectly as you are suggesting to OP then in this case it will be returned to the applicant to correct the data and submit it again.

Could you please elaborate which other section the information for travel history can be found? The only other place I can think of is Passport stamp pages. I doubt if VO will go though that pain of decoding that. My passport stampings are absolute mess and one can barely make out stamp date and country name.
Also is it worth the risk not mentioning something in application we know we have done and leaving it to VOs interpretation?

Thanks for the response guys. I'm even more confused now because there are apparently two different opinions. Wherever there are distinctive opinions means the requirements are not clear.

I remember I read it somewhere that you can skip mentioning the travels between your residence and citizenship countries but I don't want to risk it. On the other hand, when I "moved" to a different country, is this considered a travel or not? cause moving has no end date, a short travel has.

Like Mr Narayan Murthy said once “when in doubt, disclose..”

Yes, but still END DATE for a relocation travel does not make sense, does it? Please look at this example:

FROM: 11 Jun 2016
END: 24 Jun 2016
COUNTRY: A
PURPOSE: Tourism

FROM: 28 Oct 2016
END: 15 Sep 2017
COUNTRY: B
PURPOSE: Relocated

FROM: 15 Sep 2017
TO: 24 Sep 2017
COUNTRY: C
PURPOSE: Tourism

I'm still residing in country B but since I traveled to country C for tourism on 15th Sep, I had to mention END DATE for the relocation which does not make sense.
