Hi all,

I have just received IELTS score today and my CRS score is coming around 460. Can some seniors please guide me with future steps. I have read that I need to create EE profile and submit and after recieving ITA, I need to submit my application. Can someone confirm on these steps or share the future steps to be done.

Additional catch in situation is that my wife is expecting and baby is expected to be in our family by August 2018. So the medical for wife can only be done by end of August, I assume. Kindly guide me , whether I should submit my application post in case I recieve ITA after that itself or whether I can submit the application without my wife's medical and later add baby details and medicals for my wife and baby post that.

1. Create your EE profile and wait for your ITA
2. After ITA, submit PR application with all the required docs.
For pregnant wife, except x-ray everything other tests should be done and the document should be submitted. After delivery, x-ray should be taken asap and sent to the CIC, along with the baby's details.

Baby's details should be updated after the baby is born. Yes, you have to mention in the LOE that your wife is expecting (with the due date) and you can't produce x-rays for now. The application can be completed with this information and submitted. CIC will mail you again close to the due date to submit your wife's x-ray and provide documents for your baby's inclusion in to the application. Even if you don't get a mail you have to raise a CSE and submit those documents, once the baby is born.

Below is answer form help centre from CIC.

I’m pregnant. Can I wait until after I give birth to take the medical exam?
No. You will still need to undergo a medical exam even if you are pregnant. However, certain parts of the exam may be postponed until after you give birth. In that case, your application will be assessed only after all mandatory medical requirements are met. You should discuss your options with the Panel Physician performing your medical exam.

Thnx ..but while creating EE and submitting for ITA , I can't fill baby details as I don't have any now..So in this case..shall I go ahead with 2 family members (me and spouse ) and submit and then wait for ITA..as EE profile doesn't give any options for expected baby... Kindly clarify?..Can you pls PM your number so that I can call and discuss if you don't mind

Hi,

Since everybody is trying to avoid saying bad thing, one must do it.
To answer your question, there is no guarantee until your child is born (knocking wood!). So yes, as of now your family composition is only two. It legally makes sense that way. What you should focus now is making EE profile and wait for ITA as others already suggested.

Good luck on your journey.
